To ask what is wrong with men?

I just despair, I really do.

I was walking from the train station to my office this morning. I’m overweight, but I’ve lost a lot of weight and I’m not as massive as I was.

But as I’m walking I hear a man yelling at me, and I took my AirPods out. He’s hanging out of a taxi window yelling “look at the state of you!! Walking around like a fucking whale!!!” and making rude gestures at me, his mates are in the taxi laughing as well.

Im sure he was just drunk, but really? I’m 25 and he looked to be at least 40, what’s the need for it?!

Just by coincidence, there was a question in my FB feed this morning asking which everyday noise I find most irritating and the one that sprang to mind was people (ie loudmouthed blokes) yelling things out of car windows. They only ever do it when they want to be rude and horrible to passers-by (usually women and girls) or when they want to attract the attention of their equally scuzzy mates. It's often accompanied by other forms of antisocial behaviour, such as drunkeness, bum-scratching, mooning, chucking out pizza boxes etc. They are disgusting and when you feel better, you'll realise how lucky you are not to have their good opinion. I've been on the receiving end of the attention you got and the other sort and it's no better. I actually wondered what I had wrong with me if a grotty little weasel like that thought I was worth leering at.

They're not really angry at you OP. They're angry at the world because they haven't got the intelligence or inclination to be living the life they'd really like to. They can't seem to understand why women aren't just falling at their feet oh so grateful to be in their presence. The twats really can't see that they're utter scum bags who women are smart enough to stay well clear of.

It's like they're born knowing what women's insecurities are and going straight in there for them, isn't it? Do you think there's somewhere giving lessons, with headings like 'Tits - they all wish they had bigger ones' and 'Weight - try 'fat' first, and if they laugh tell them they've got skinny legs and no tits'.Just imagine the reaction if women went round shouting 'hey, tiny dick!' out of car windows at random men! There would be laws passed in no time.

I don't think they're that intelligent.

They're just apes thinking "I like big jugs". She hasn't got big jugs. I'll say that out loud cause I have no filter and the while world is about my preferences and wants". Like a young child.

The short, unattractive, not well earning guy (who's probably not impressively endowed), who commented on my small tits had not got the intelligence or capacity to consider that I like men tall, attractive, with good jobs and relatively hung, (and that I pulled them).

Probably because I'm not some slack jawed, filterless, entitled ape (an insult to apes) who shouts "you're short!' "short ass!" at vertically challenged men.

The only exception to the "not that intelligent" is that they've learned basic negging.

So when they see a woman who's out of their league, they can make themselves feel better by thinking they brought her down/critiqued her/upset her/hit her ego.

The other day a work colleague told me that - while out with her sister and niece who has cerebral palsy (I think).- she heard a mother walking past with her partner & children say (about her niece) "that is one child who should have been aborted".

She went to challenge her and her sister told her to leave it, that it would just escalate and that it wasn't the first time she'd heard similar comments.

Her dd was having to listen to that, a little child.

There's no changing them.

Don't waste a minute of your life stressing about them.

I worked with a man, who when drunk admitted he attends a professional massage therapist, he'll explain how he is disabled and wearing an adult nappy, (he wasn't) he would fill his nappy during the massages, knowing that the poor girls believed he was disabled and would reassure him that accidents happen. Absolutely sick.

I remember years ago a few of us girls from work decided to go for a night out, it was a mix of all ages 20-50s. There was a lovely lady at work, very quiet, mid-late 30s who declined - she was very self-conscious of her weight. We said to her come on, we’re all girls together….all ages and body types….lets just go out round our local pubs and have a laugh. We all went out on a Friday night, one pub was usually quite busy but, what the heck, we’re just a few girlies having a nice time. Just as we’re trying to get in the door, few lads were squeezing to get out - one of them passed her and nonchalantly said “get out of my way you fat cow” !
that was it, she just burst out crying and went home. Those few throw away words just completely broke her. Of course we all just told him to F off, but the damage was done.

Absolute b*stards out on their little incel trip OP. So sorry this has happened to you. It's not just the idiot who shouted at you It's all his mates too. Imagine not being horrified at that type of behaviour or thinking it might be your wife or daughter on the receiving end. Just vile! Big hugs to you x
