Are there any conspiracy theories you believe in?

Inspired by another thread

I find conspiracy theories really interesting. I have never ‘believed’ any of them, more enjoy discussing them and how likely it seems that they could be true. I also think it’s more far fetched to believe that everything we have ever been told or ever will be told is the whole truth.

Are there any CTs you believe in? Lead me down a rabbit hole please!

So you think the planes that ‘flew’ into the towers existed?
Three towers completely pulverised (demolition) and yet passports of the ‘perps’ were found in perfect condition to ID the guys.

100’s of structural engineers agree that the towers were taken down….but not by planes.

You know what? I'm a native New Yorker. I was right there that day. I will never forget what I saw, heard and smelled.

You are absolutely fucking wrong.

Has anyone heard of the cities on the moon being the reason we have never gone back? 😁

With you with the Jeffrey Epstein thing, that guy was a dead man walking when he went into prison.
Like Alexei Navalny ( who actually irritated me with his stupidity). He could have done so much more, be living in Ukraine and helping. What a waste. That's not even really a CT .
The rest 50/50 but not with you on climate change not being real .

Edited

Like Alexei Navalny ( who actually irritated me with his stupidity).

The irony of someone sitting at home on Mumsnet complaining about Alexei Navalny being stupid and irritating is just gobsmacking.

What I think is bonkers is that many people who believe in big Pharma/anti vax or climate change deniers are also Trump supporters.

Trump who genuinely IS bending the law, amassing billionaires like Musk, donating millions to Nigel Farage.

So this is genuine corruption, but is ignored in favour of conspiracy?

But those are all false flags, a political smear campaign, the deep state etc.
Trump certainly knows how to play his minions.

I don’t believe in “brain death”.

Really? This thread alone seems to point to numerous cases of it, right before our eyes.

The moon landing was staged.

That would have involved a huge number of people to stage that? Someone would have came forward and "exposed" it

Khayker · 23/12/2024 03:42

ElleneAsanto · 23/12/2024 00:55

The “rockets” aren’t used for re-entry. Anything designed for use in zero gravity will look different because that’s the laws of physics - it’s not designed for the same forces you expect to see at ground level on planet Earth. (A science teacher is losing the will to live here.)

I'm sure every one of your school pupils knows that the Saturn rocket separated from the landing module and command cockpit on clearing earth atmosphere. What I was commenting on was the overall look of the rockets and associated modules and the appearance of their tensile strength (you know, Hookes law and all that boring stuff). Nothing to do with what something looks like in zero gravity, my point being that its unbelievable that something that looks that lightweight and maleable could get to the moon and back let alone re-enter earth's atmosphere at a potential 4500 deg f but then I'm only a senior mettalurgist, so I'm a bit biased. It's a UK thing I think, observe, be sceptical based on your own field of expertise and hope nobody looses the will to live around the basics. Have a great day.

That they cloned Kanye west after he lost the plot, ultimately (I believe he was talking some truth though personally) & that all the stars are just reborn and existed hundreds of years ago looking the exact same.

Sorry I don't recall the name of the second theory but I'm sure if you google it it'll show!

What?

Harry isn't royal, he is a love child of Diana's. Charles knows Harry is a Hewitt.
The official line, that Diana and Hewitt started their affair after Harry was born is a lie, people in the village where his mother lived know this.

Madeleine McCann's body was in the apartment, there was no abduction, and sniffer dogs confirmed this.

How do you explain the very clear resemblance Harry has to the late Duke of Edinburgh then?

TheNinny · 23/12/2024 03:50

haven’t rtft and I’m sure it’s been done to death already but the celebrity/political pedo ring (and its links to the occult)I read a book by anneke lucas who claimed she was trafficked in these networks as a child. Was still a bit skeptical but she claimed many celebrities we know have been trafficked and then all the epstein/andrew/p diddy stuff came out and so on and so on…

I was reading today about Dyatlov Pass. I don't think I believe the official version, especially as it was in Russia!! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DyatlovPasss_incident

Yes I agree with you about this. Very strange.

Khayker · 23/12/2024 04:05

I didn't say that, you interpretted my comments as such, but if you say so. I'm a senior metallurgist, so I have a very unique insight into the properties of metal whether inside our atmosphere or outside it. It must be my inquiring mind and perhaps qualifications and experience in metallurgy that make me wonder if it did happen which everyone is entitled to do btw. However, as I didn't claim to be undertaking any of the assumptions made in your comments, don't ask me what I think, ask the 6% of Americans that still believes it never happened and 21% of US millenials who reported scepticism over the moon landing during the last pole. Me, I look at it purely from the point of science based facts, what's the premise for your assumptions. Btw, I think NASA already knows about the scepticism...sorry!

I keep coming back to this (unwisely, I'm sure). What the hell's wrong with stakeholder economics?

I mean, I'm quite a fan of globalisation, freedom of movement, digital ID and being friends with Japan, but I understand the reasons to be suspicious of these things. I can't understand why you don't think businesses should benefit people and the planet as well as their shareholders, though?

I wouldnt say that I definitely believe its true but I would not be in the slightest bit surprised to learn that Donald Trump arranged his own "attempted" assasinations.

Same.

Actually it hasn't been done to death. Even on a thread like this, people are incredibly resistant to the idea that sexual abuse of children is widespread, commonplace, and routinely used as a blackmail tool.

They're all here for their blood libel and Pizzagate, not so much for the grimy realities. I'm equivocal about 'satanic' abuse, though - certainly some people are that bonkers but I can't see it being an organised thing of any scale, or we'd know. What I can envisage is traumatised children being told there's an occult element and/or building narratives in their own minds about black magic & monsters.

It's hard to get solid information from severely traumatised kids 😢

Indeed no. Evidence and logic doesn't seem to matter to some.
