Are there any conspiracy theories you believe in?

Inspired by another thread

I find conspiracy theories really interesting. I have never ‘believed’ any of them, more enjoy discussing them and how likely it seems that they could be true. I also think it’s more far fetched to believe that everything we have ever been told or ever will be told is the whole truth.

Are there any CTs you believe in? Lead me down a rabbit hole please!

It's not just about Camilla.

If Diana lived, the public would never accept camilla. Remember how utterly hated camilla was back then.

Diana's popularity threatened Camilla, and Diana's popularity also threatened Charles.

Diana was much more popular than Charles back then.

Diana was alos regularly attacking the royal family with books and documentaries.

She was a threat to the royal family.

Edited

You vastly overestimate the importance of the public.

Diana was side lined. She was also looking increasingly flaky, silly, and press reporting of her was often derogatory.
Her colonic irrigations, her stalking and harassing of Hoare etc etc.
Her thing with Dodi was just another eye rolling episode.

People didn't respect or like or love her anywhere near the level you believe. She was just canonised later.

She had already told all ...she had nothing much new to tell.

You're thinking she was much more important than she was.

The public adjusts. The public goes for whoever the press sets up.

And as I said, if the RF are supposed to be the architects of that; risk the mental health of their two heirs at a vulnerable formative age to bump her off and make Camilla more popular in future???

As I said, ludicrous.

I absolutely agree with those who believe the McCann's know exactly what happened to Madelaine. One day it's all going to come out........

Won't launch into a lengthy diatribe here, but Richard D Hall's YT videos make for compelling viewing!

Princess Diana was murdered. Her Maj certainly wasn't whiter than white in the matter either!

We were definitely sold a lie regarding Covid.

Amused to read on here that (apparently) no intelligent, thinking person would believe in conspiracy theories. You could flip that - and say an intelligent person would consider every possibility.

Isn't Richard D Hall the same guy who said the victims at the Ariana Grande concert where crisis actors?

Over40Overdating · 23/12/2024 00:07

I think conspiracy theorists are a conspiracy theory.

Who benefits from a group of people so convinced of their own intelligence despite variable facts contrary to what they are thinking.
Of people so suspicious of absolutely everything they call conspiracy when 9/10 cock up would cover it.
Who distrust any mainstream news, science or fact yet will trust randoms on the internet. Who isolate themselves from the mainstream and feel proud that this isolation makes them special.
If I wanted to test how gullible and manipulateable people were, I wouldn’t use a lockdown to do it. I would use conspiracy theory rhetoric.

As for Diana was murdered - why?
I remember the attitude to Diana before she died. It wasn’t that she was an all powerful tool who could take down the monarchy and was feared for her power with the people.
She was seen as a joke. As a silly, vacuous, embarrassment. Had she lived she would not have been hailed the saint she was in death. She would eventually have been rehabilitated in the public eye in the same way Fergie was and then turned back into tabloid fodder as a rival to her daughters in law.
She really was never important enough to be the subject of a murder and massive, decades long cover up.

I disagree with your last paragraph. I remember Diana before she died.

She wasnt seen as a joke. She was very popular.

When her and charles went out and did walkabouts, everyone would ask to meet Diana, not charles.

StrawberryDream24 · 23/12/2024 00:10

Diana's popularity also threatened Charles

Charles was the heir to the throne, future King and the centre of the RF. Nothing would change that.

She was no threat to that.

She was side lined.

As I said, reporting before her untimely death was often far from respectful.

I absolutely believed in the moon landings until I went to the NASA space centre in Houston. I came out doubting that the technology of the time was capable and same for the early space craft.

Do you believe that John Glenn and Yuri Gagarin orbited the Earth? And that Alan Shepherd walked in space? Because once you can do that, getting to the moon is only a bit more difficult (slightly heavier rocket, slightly bigger capsule, small computer to do the landing).

BoundaryGirl3939 · 23/12/2024 00:11

Isatis · 23/12/2024 00:04

That is correct in a way. I have very little trust if I cant see it myself. I believe there is a spiritual side to everything, and the fact that Hollywood and media mock Christianity makes me even more distrustful of mainstream media sources

How do you manage to trust in the existence of Christ, given that you've never seen him?

Because we all have a soul (mind-body-spirit) which recognises who is the true God. People just know because they have an inherent link to their creator. We all have a 6th sense, higher intelligence which informs us. Our conscience speaks to us all the time.

I've read the bible which I believe is God sent. It can't be but God sent. Nothing triggers Hollywood like Jesus Christ. He shines a light on evil which is why He is hated.

Verbena17 · 23/12/2024 00:00

So you think the planes that ‘flew’ into the towers existed?
Three towers completely pulverised (demolition) and yet passports of the ‘perps’ were found in perfect condition to ID the guys.

100’s of structural engineers agree that the towers were taken down….but not by planes.

You don't think the planes existed? At all? I was working for American Airlines at the time. I lost colleagues, friends on that plane. As part of the CARE team I was in the US dealing with the families of passengers.. Probably the most traumatic and difficult time of my life. I had 3 months off work to recover.

What a stupid thing to say. (Or did my colleagues not exist either?).

"Nothing could change that"

Well, revolution could change that. Other countries have got rid of their royal families.

I remember Tony Blair said that after Diana died, and the queen didn't do anything, he feared there would be a revolution. The royal family were so disliked at the time.

Tony Blair said he went to the queen and told her that she had to say something about diana

Moonfasa100 · 23/12/2024 00:10

No.

I was alive when Diana was alive.

I remember her popularity. She was very popular. She was much more popular than charles was.

Nearly everyone was alive when Diana was alive.

I remember the reporting.

It was not respectful. She was far from always being loved and respected.

She was more popular with some people in a way as a younger, glamorous woman .... But that's not all monarchy is about.

It didn't matter what she did, she was a side lined ex royal while Charles was the future king. He didn't need to engage in popularity contests.

And he wasn't going to leave his young sons motherless and devastated in their formative years ..... That's beyond ridiculous.

StrawberryDream24 · 23/12/2024 00:16

Well, revolution could change that. Other countries have got rid of their royal families.

So far the UK has proven itself extremely reluctant to do that (since the Restoration I mean). They are entrenched.

But we can only hope.

StrawberryDream24 · 23/12/2024 00:17

I remember Tony Blair said that after Diana died, and the queen didn't do anything, he feared there would be a revolution

Hyperbole.

TB is hardly considered a reliable person.

StrawberryDream24 · 23/12/2024 00:18

Tony Blair said he went to the queen and told her that she had to say something about diana

The late Queen appeared to have an opinion of Diana that many others shared. After she passed away, it was uncouth/inappropriate to air that though.

She was popular with some sections of the population.

She was not with others and there were regularly derogatory articles and headlines about her behaviour. Very very far from on a pedestal.

What I’ve noticed is whenever someone says ‘many believe’ or ‘many think’ it’s usually many bollocks that’s follows.

Washington DC not being part of the USA, and the City of London not being part of the UK, are my favorite bits. 😂

Jeffrey Epstein did not commit suicide.

Biden has not been running the country for the last 4 years. The guy hardly knows where he is half the time. This one is pretty much proven to be true now.

Covid was made in a lab. Also proven now. The FBI themselves confirmed it.

Covid was never serious enough for anyone except the elderly and those with core morbidities. It did not warrant lockdowns. Yet lockdowns happened, governments borrowed and printed and trillions in our name, and gave it all away to their cronies, including big pharma. Corruption on a scale never seen before dressed up as a public health crisis.

There were never any WMDs in Iraq. Also proven many years ago. Iraq war was a front to shuffle trillions away to big defence and private contractors whose links can be traced back to governments. Corruption on an enormous scale dressed up as a threat to national security.

The banking crisis of 2008 was manufactured. The guy in charge of US treasury that ignored all the calls for regulation back in 2005 was, wait for it….ex chief of one of the largest global banks. And he was hired and surrounded by ex bankers to ignore exactly the kind of legislation that would have prevented sub prime mortgage debacle. When the crash happened, big banks got their pay day. Corruption on a gigantic scale dressed up as a financial crisis.

Ukraine war, orchestrated over a decade. Who benefited? Big energy. Big defence again.

Coming next….

Climate hysteria to rip off the taxpayer so that our money can be stolen and funnelled away. Watch who benefits. The car industry and big energy again.

Always follow the money.

With you with the Jeffrey Epstein thing, that guy was a dead man walking when he went into prison.
Like Alexei Navalny ( who actually irritated me with his stupidity). He could have done so much more, be living in Ukraine and helping. What a waste. That's not even really a CT .
The rest 50/50 but not with you on climate change not being real .

No. Because I have a degree of intelligence.

Conspiracy theories are created by people who get rich by sucking in the gullible. Some could be deemed to be harmless but many are dangerous (e.g those that died from covid because they believed the crackpot antivaxx theories or those that are designed to instil fear such as the 5g bollox). All are designed to be 'interesting' so you keep clicking. Every time you click on a conspiracy theory website you are lining the pockets of these vile people.

Conspiracy theories were around long before websites though

Bless you, sweet summer child.

The “technology of the time” built e.g. the Pyramids, the Colosseum, roads that went straight for a hundred miles…all 20 or more centuries ago.
It was all new technology once. It did the job. Very ignorant to be so dismissive.

If you want to know if climate change is real, don't listen to "lefty green types who are just jealous of your car", and don't ask "so-called scientists, all of whom are in the pay of sinister globalist forces" (and also jealous of your car).

Just talk to farmers. Hard-headed, salt of the earth types. Not known for being lefties. Not known for being jealous of other people's cars. But 100% of farmers will tell you that the climate has changed in their lifetime. They might then complain about government red tape, or inheritance tax, and various other not-very-lefty positions, but they won't ever deny that the climate is changing.

Conspiracy theories were around long before websites though

Mel Gibson starred in a movie called "Conspiracy Theory", about 30 years ago I think. He subscribed to pamphlets about how the Royal Family were lizards, etc etc. He was always going to the police and demanding that they do something. Then one day he discovered an actual conspiracy. I only saw it once, a long time ago, but I remember it being very entertaining.

Why the snarky reply? She is allowed to not believe it. Why does it trigger you if she doesn't?

Building a pyramid/colosseum/straight road is impressive...but it's not the same as claiming to have travelled almost 400,000 km to the moon, hop off the spaceship, video it, and then travel the same distance back.

How are they flimsy? Are you referring to the moon landers, which admittedly do look a bit cobbled together (saw one at the Science Museum) - but aren't
(BTW most of the rocket detaches a few minutes after launch.)

Edited

I'm referring to the rockets and moon landers. One of the rockets had been opened up when we visited. Extremely thin metal on both the doors and fuselage from what I could see. Your average supermarket trolley looked more likely to attempt successful re-entry into earth's atmosphere than what was on display. I would seriously question the ability of the craft to survive the journey. Hadn't questioned it until I saw them but does make me consider the conspiracy theories.

Fatfreefatball · 23/12/2024 00:39

Re the moon landings, have you seen the 70s film 'Capricorn One'?. About a faked landing on Mars. When the astronauts couldn't be trusted to keep the secret, all but one were killed. Do people really believe that hundreds of people at Mission Control and the American astronauts were all in on some secret? Absurd idea.
