To ask if you're wearing makeup today?

It's my pre-Xmas pamper day today - I've got a hairdressers appointment at 11, then popping to get my upper lip waxed (glam!) then going to get a pedicure. I'm unusually barefaced and look wrecked after a long, stressful month at work Grin

DD17 has just asked me if I'm putting makeup on before I go out and when I said no I got an eyebrow lift!

Are you a bare faced beauty (or, like me, beast) today or AIBU and should go and put my face on before I scare any small children... ?

Yes, but a bit less than my work war paint. Lighter coverage foundation, mascara, bit of powder. That's all. I have horrible red skin and very flat pale lashes so this is the minimum I wear to feel decent.

Not intending to leave the house, so zero makeup. I have brushed my hair though

No make up.

But I wear make up for job interviews and very special occasions only, so it’s normal for me.

My DC comment if I wear it, not if I don’t.

I'll probably pop a bit on, because I'm going out later with the family. But ordinarily, no, I wouldn't be wearing it.

I wfh and often I'm only out to walk the dog, plus I'm over 60. So on an average day no. I will put on make up if going in to town or meeting friends. Tonight I'm going to a drinks do so will put make up on later.
When I worked in an office I wore it every day.

It's a bit early! Only been up an hour, but in an hour or so after a coffee and shower I'll probably get ready.

Day in so no make up 🙌 but otherwise yes always. I have good skin but I always look at bit pale and you can definitely see my eye bags if I don’t slap some on. Joys of having a ASD DC that hardly sleeps.

Well men don’t bother do they? And I don’t think they worry about scaring small children.

(but yes, I am wearing makeup 😂)

After having been up all night with a high needs newborn and a clingy toddler, I'll be doing well if i manage to brush my teeth! I look like absolute trash but the upside is it puts makeup/perfume/anything other than the basics in perspective as to whats really necessary day to day. Would be nice to have the choice again though 🤔

Zero makeup here, but that's normal for me. If I'm going out for an evening and am dressed up (rare for me) I might put some face powder on. Once or twice a year I add mascara and eye shadow. I'm happy with how my make up free face looks, and if anyone doesn't like it, that's their problem not mine.

I normally like a bit of make up but today is a no make up day as I'm just running errands and later will be wrapping gifts.

I still feel polished though as I've had a long soak in the bath and have put on some nice skincare.

I’ll put a bit on later. Eating breakfast and chilling with my dogs just now, and they love me regardless, lol. So skincare just now while I relax. Popping into town later so some mascara, concealer, and defo some red lippie will be the order of the day.

I’m not bothered about going out without makeup on. I’m not wearing any at the moment though because I am going out tonight so will be putting fresh going out makeup on later on.

But now I am 45 I do think I look better with a little on at least. However, if I can’t be bothered, so be it.

None today and none since 7DEC when I had a night out. I'll likely put some on Christmas Eve 😊.

My teenager and I were out yesterday getting our christmas glam and the only make up between us was mascara and lip balm.

I don’t think I have worn any make up since we went to a wedding in August! We’re going out for dinner with another couple yet but I most likely won’t put any on for that and I doubt the other wife will either.

I'd love to not wear make up when I go out or to work but I don't have perfect skin so I don't

I've never worn it and I'm in my mid thirties now. I can't be bothered learning how to do it all and frankly don't see the point in it
