Just went to book odeon for me and my 6yo tonight. £35 for non Premier seats! Which means I can't afford to go to the cinema anymore. Wild! Anyone else got the same problem? I'm a bit gutted!

@Stringervest I looked up the same cinema and for tomorrow Moana 2 at the 10am showing (normal seats) I got £18.98 for one adult, one child.

That's bizarre, I wonder what I'm doing wrong!

Needmorelego · 30/11/2024 08:05

@Stringervest did you pick the IMAX showings?

Stringervest · 30/11/2024 08:05

I don't think so!

Stringervest · 30/11/2024 08:05

Although tbf I'd probably pay that for imax, love imax

@Stringervest I just checked again. I looked at an evening showing (thinking maybe it's more expensive then) but no.... still that £18.98.
Most odd.

Maybe there is an algorithm linked to my IP address which has me tabbed as a person who will just pay whatever because I'm too lazy to look for a deal. Which is worrying....

So expensive!

Even the local arts cinema is only £10 a ticket. Your cinema would go out of business in my area!

We have the Astoria cinema here. Its brilliant. All the films that are shown at the odeon. In an old refurbished odeon cinema with comfy new seats. All tickets are £5, if you take an annual £10 membership out tickets are £4 with 10 % off snacks. Its amazing and always busy. Its brought new life to the town and the building has been cleaned up and retro features enhanced.

£16.90 at my local odeon for non premiere seats.

my brother is in a different town and last time I spoke to him about this his local odeon was about a third of the price of mine. But he has more cinemas in his town.
