What happens if he pleads guilty, do the uncle and step mother not get charged?
This is a horrifying story, the poor child. They should all be punished.

All three have been charged with murder and they have also all been charged with causing or allowing the death of a child. I think the trial will continue for all three, Irfan Sharif has admitted to beating Sara and admitted responsibility for her death but denies that he murdered her so the jury will have to come to a verdict for him. The other two haven't given their versions of events yet and haven't been cross-examined.

Because abusers pretend not to be abusers but frame the victims as the perpetrators to get away with more. They do not take kindly to being reported.

Society mostly believes anyone who cries that they were falsely accused. No questions asked.

It also says here though that Sara made allegations of abuse against her mother Olga.

I know I've said before but how can someone be so cruel to beat another person let alone their own child to death?

Now I read he was reported to the police for abuse by three separate girlfriends, one of them Olga his first wife. Yet they gave this known violent and coercive man custody of a child.

If the step mother has not given a dental cast is it possible to use that against her? If she had nothing to hide then she'd give it? Is the omission evidence?

All credit to Caroline Carberry KC, that line of questioning in the report is bloody brilliant. She's got the measure of him.

The bite marks didn’t match the men’s dental casts and she refused to supply one so I imagine the jury will be invited to draw their own conclusions. She will probably say she suffers from claustrophobia or similar and wasn’t able to have one. She may try and blame the other children. Who knows?

Since they are all responsible for Sara’s suffering and death it’s hard to see how you could believe a word any of them say when being cross examined.

Dentition is pretty idiosyncratic.
There was a case years ago {Pre net} where a murderer was caught by an apple he had attempted to eat then thrown away.

NOT having a cast done screams guilt.
What is she trying to hide?

A dentist could likely offer sedation - IF it was one of the children then they too could have casts taken.

They can’t sedate her without her consent. Could the police obtain dental records from her dentist? Perhaps previous x rays would help shed light.

I read that the 13 year old brother has been ruled out as he had his bite checked. I dont know whether in person or via dental records. The other kids are little so I think the size of the bite mark would rule them out.

I've just read that apparently someone washed poor Sara's body. It's thought a jet wash in the garden was used. Her dirty clothes, including a nappy, were left in the garden. These 3 are utterly depraved. I really have no words.

That just so depraved.
These violent men and women are pure evil.Expect they’ll play the victim though, in the hopes of getting a lighter sentence.
What they did was wanton torture to an innocent child.

One can only surmise as to why they jet washed her broken body.

To get rid of their incriminating DNA

This is medieval. This is beyond comprehension. Why do people like this even exist.

I wish they'd stop posting the photo of Sara all done up in make up. She was a small child, my heart is so broken over all of this. I have never heard of abuse like this.

I find that photo troubling.

The father deserves to have a bone broken with a cricket bat every day that he's in jail. What a piece of filth.

oh that is beyond depraved, that poor, poor little soul, what a short and horrendous existence she had. I am not using the word life because she did not have one, just pain, fear and torment. When I look at her sweet face i could cry. I cannot comprehend such vileness

Same here, when the case broke that photo was everywhere and I found it troubling, she appears to be wearing full make up.
