I have a fair bit of cleaning to do today and have been enjoying some BBC Sounds content, BBC Ulster in particular had a great wee programme about a haunting and a house that vanished. I also enjoyed a recent one on Lord Lucan. I feel like I might have exhausted BBC Sounds by now though - what am I missing? What have you enjoyed?

‘Bad People’ by a Canadian Criminal Psychology doctor and an English documentary maker. They’re quite amusing too.
I’m also listening to ‘Crime Next Door’ about the Salisbury Poisonings and the current inquest into it.
Obviously there’s the infamous ‘Uncanny’ with Danny Robins! If you’re into the unexplained. It really gives an objective take on people’s experiences rather than a load of hyperbole. It’s also entertaining in a real way. Love it

I've remembered another one, Good / Bad Billionaire. I listen to it with teens in the car and we always try to guess the verdict.

Oh I always download too, but even so, the app just randomly stops. Especially if I try to use another app but also when I'm only using Sounds. It's particularly annoying when I'm driving and can't easily restart it

The app has never once stopped on me? Let me guess, you’re on Android? If so that’s an Android issue or an issue with the Android version of the BBC Sounds app. My iOS BBC Sounds app is perfect

Out if interest, how do people prefer to listen to podcasts that are non bbc?

Apple Podcasts. On which I listen to The Missing. Their episodes are currently featuring American cases but if you go back to the earlier series they’re all UK based cases

I enjoyed this https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/brand/p07nkd84?partner=uk.co.bbc&origin=share-mobile

If you like history, try the podcast, not BBC, This is History by Dan Jones, 5 series now covering the Plantagenets, I find him really interesting to listen too. On the same vein ,The Rest is History is also very good, but more varied.
