A leaked French medical report from 2023 has confirmed that Algerian boxer Imane Khelif is male.

I agree with this, unfortunately there’s a history of coaches seeking out boys with DSD to train for the women’s Olympics. That’s why there used to be such strict rules around gender tests back in the day.

Every single male athlete who has ever competed in the female category, should hand any medal back to the rightful owner. A full list of these athletes, medals won, and the female who should have won, should be published.

It's not the first time. In the 2016 Rio Olympics, there was a race - 800m, I think, can't remember which - where not a single women's medal winner was female (Caster Semenya was one of them).

I was involved in a discussion where the "proof" that Imane is female was that "she has never said she is anything other than female" and that "in a country like Algeria your only identity comes from what you were declared to be at birth".

I was told that the information I cited was "dubious" and "unsubstantiated" so I wanted to check how reliable Reduxx is as a source (not that the person who was so quick to dismiss what I said had any idea where I had read it).

It actually wasn't, hence no quote or tag. I noticed it was ambiguous, and gave you the benefit of the doubt.

However, it was about the 12th post we've had questioning Reduxx's veracity (and that question has been answered) and most of the others were openly hostile about it as a source. Since we all know those people are still watching so they can plop when they feel like it, I decided to make an open comment. And it stands.

Sorry if the question had already been answered - it is a very long thread. To clear up any confusion/ambiguity, I am a fully paid-up "TERF" and I was only questioning the source because I had never heard of Reduxx and wanted to be sure I was quoting something kosher.

Same with many other sports organisations. Just watched ‘It’s All Over’ on Netflix re the Spanish women’s team winning the World Cup. Behaviour of the men in their sports bodies is jaw-droppingly misogynistic.

To top it all off, women’s boxing only became an official Olympic sport at the London 2012 Games.
So we had a good … 12 years before it became impossible to compete fairly again.

It is likely that people who are determined to wait for some kind of official press release to be ‘convinced’ will dismiss whatever the source is that is not from Khelif. The original source for this leak is the French reporter, who published on le correspondant site, who published it before Reduxx picked it up. The original source for this leak is not Reduxx. However, they did release the first article about Khelif and Ling in August.

Because of that, it will require talking through what is known from various sources including the boxing federations.

A French site, Le Point
also published Georges Cazorla‘s statement back in August too. That statement was also never actually denied or even countered by any of Khelif’s current management.

As we have seen, there are many people who will not do their own research and feel all too comfortable to denigrate others who have or who will narrow their reading for numerous reasons and then state there is no evidence when this is illogical and is based on narrow and biased sources.

When left wing publications refuse to publish anything such as this in case of being cancelled themselves, there is little hope for getting the message through. This is the world we live in sadly.
