A leaked French medical report from 2023 has confirmed that Algerian boxer Imane Khelif is male.

Top endocrinologists found that Khelif has XY chromosomes, no uterus, internal testicles, and a "micropenis."

The report was drafted in June of 2023 via a collaboration between the Kremlin-Bicêtre hospital in Paris, France, and the Mohamed Lamine Debaghine hospital in Algiers, Algeria. Drafted by expert endocrinologists Soumaya Fedala and Jacques Young, the report reveals that Khelif is impacted by 5-alpha reductase deficiency, a disorder of sexual development that is only found in biological males.

The way this poor woman has been treated by absolute loser transphobes is reprehensible. I wish her well.

You appear to have not grasped anything about what's actually going on 🤦‍♀️

Not a boxer, I could never be violent to another being (unfortunately! I might not have been walked all over as a child/young adult if I had a natural propensity for violence 😞)

I was punched by a woman in a Sunderland nightclub because I picked up my male friend off the floor (after he was headbutted by her boyfriend and she didn't take kindly to me helping him). I was also punched (more than once, again unfortunately) by my ex husband. I've been physically assaulted by a couple of men and a couple of women in various ways and there is a world of difference in force and technique. I'd pick the woman over the man every time. Less damage.

Shit, so sorry you experienced this.

Wishing you better luck in future!!!! 💗

He isn't trans. He thinks people calling him trans are disrespecting his family and country, and that it is a shameful accusation.

But it's women here that are 'loser transphobes'? Okay then😂

what on earth makes you think he's a woman?

Genuine question.

Ideology.

It will be interesting to hear what Imane has to say about this article. Will Imane call there bluff?

He's not trans and has never claimed to be trans.

He's a biological man claiming to be a woman.

Khleif has talked about how shameful it is for him to be slurred as trans - he's a proper transphobe.

Sorry to hear of your battles. It might be a good time for you to learn self defence and how to fight to protect yourself. I think it's so important for young girls and women to learn self defense so they stand a better chance of getting away. There is a lot of cowardly people out there who pick on the defenceless. I bet if they were up against someone their own size they wouldn't bother.

Man Punches Women in Face. Awarded Gold Medal. Women who Object Labelled Bigots.

I have no sympathy for Khelif. A micropenis is not an excuse.

From another thread:

'Did you know that male boxers don't wear helmets because their punching power is so great that the risk of a broken neck (torsion injury from catching on the helmet) greatly outweighs that of a fractured skull?
Now, women have much thinner skulls, so they do wear helmets. Lucky they don't risk a broken neck from being punched by men, isn't it?'

He could have killed a woman. He doesn't care.

Anyone who can read this post and still defend Khelif competing against women, or tell women they are wrong for having a problem with it, or even wrong for just saying they think it is wrong, should be absolutely fucking ashamed of themselves.

What a strange, strange world some people seem to inhabit, where they are not only prepared to defend male violence against women, but to actually think that it is the morally correct position to have. Who would have thought it, 2024, men beating up women is sometimes actually fine, and only a bigot would have a problem with it.

RobinEllacotStrike · 04/11/2024 19:40

How many people are realising they are in a cult today?
How many will break free and acknowledge they were played?

How many will apologise to those they have demonised & called names?

He'll be just dandy. There's no men punching him in the head on the regular.

Unlike the women forced to box him.

He can wipe his tears away with the prize money he stole from a talented female athlete.

There're no trans people being discussed here.
You jumped on a thread without doing even the most basic of research, or even RTFT? How illuminating. You should get together with the 'other' poster who thinks most people don't know the location of Algeria.

Not many. As a wise person assigned male at birth once said, it's much easier to trick someone than to convince them they've been tricked.

A lot of people decided at an early stage that this sort of thing was equivalent to equal marriage rights for gay people and therefore they would be morally superior if they supported it. (For many of them, this was made very easy because it gave them a chance to prioritise male wants over female needs and to claim virtue while doing it.) They got convinced very early on that this makes them better people and they don't like to admit they were fooled and haven't actually been fighting for truth and honour.

You're not only fighting against many people's natural desire to prioritise men and invalidate women. You're also fighting against their own self image. Hardly surprising, then, that they prioritise that above women's safety and equality, and even reality itself, I guess...

Totallymessed · 04/11/2024 19:54

In their rush to tell off the awful bigots of mumsnet, @Behv gets all mixed up and forgets they are supposed to be pretending to believe Khelif is a woman......😂

He went through male puberty. He knew full well he wasn't a woman and still went on to beat women up in the Olympics.

Intent does indeed count.

I am sorry he has a DSD but that doesn't give him the right to punch women.

He/she can't possibly have gone through male puberty. Without modern medical investigations there would be no way of knowing he was not a women.

Ger1atricMillennial · 04/11/2024 19:59

I would love all female (and male) atheletes to boycott the Olympics in protest that this was permitted, but being realistic I feel that the head of the IOC and the boxing division should absolutely get the axe.

The way this was handeled, was utterly appalling. No-one is happy that it is "confirmed" that a male was able to participate (twice) in a full contact sport with females. Its lose-lose for everyone.

For those who are unclear. Males are 90% stronger in their upper body i.e. nearly twice as much as a female of the same weight and height. Given that most men are taller and bigger than most females it averages out to about 145%.

From my limited understanding of the condition that Imane has, it is likely that their is no difference in their MSK strength and aerobic capacity to that as a man without the condition. But, even if Imane was 50% less strong than a equivalant male, they would still be there would still be an advantage to the point that it would put their female apponement at serious risk as it is a BOXING competition (sitll blows my mind). What even worse is, MSK strength and aerobic capacity are really easy to measure.

I hope all of Imanes competitors successfully sue the IOC for putting them at severe and unnecessary risk. I hope their collective payout is so huge that it make the IOC invest in research to provide safe and fair competition for females.

Hunglikeapolevaulter · 04/11/2024 20:00

I've been to that part of Algeria- it is poor and is socially quite conservative (unlike Algiers where you see girls in jeans and t-shirts), and as others have said, they were brought up as a girl, not a boy

He in no way at all has the body language of someone brought up female in a conservative area. Not even a little bit. He has total bro swagger.

Can you explain why you think this?

Because male people with the specific condition mentioned most certainly go through a virilised puberty as they are male. However, maybe you have different information?

People with XY chromosomes and 5ard2 experience many aspects of male puberty. Male puberty is primarily driven by testosterone rather than DHT.

“Oh FFS. You lot are like a dog with a bone on here!
Nasty bunch of witches.
Trust me, I'd love to say worse!
It's alright though, because unlike the other venom on here that I repeatedly report and is REPEATEDLY left to stand, my comment will get deleted.
You're utterly pathetic on here.
I'm out.”

You are out?

you mean you are leaving Mumsnet for good? Or you are leaving the thread?

Because why? Because MN mods are professionally trained to be reasonable and what you consider hateful does not meet the bar that reasonable people would find hateful?

And witches? Ok… cool! I don’t think this is the horrific insult you believe it to be…..

I actually hope your post doesn't get deleted, as it portrays your attitude towards women who won't do and say what you want them to, far more eloquently than anyone else could put it. Pure, aggressive hatred
