Just that really. Just watching a video of Luke Combs. He’s heavy but sexy! My DH is heavy and 6 ft 3. Wouldn’t swap him for a skinny man ever!!

I agree, I don’t find skinny men attractive, but I don’t find men who are super muscular attractive either. I much prefer “average”.

Orchidflower1 · 18/10/2024 20:48

Totally.

FriendOrNo · 18/10/2024 20:51

Luv a dad bod

LawksALordyMyBottomsOnFire · 18/10/2024 20:56

Luke Combs is fat and has struggled with his weight all his life.

It's interesting how you use the word 'heavy' instead of fat but you don't use the word 'light' instead of skinny?

Either way, he's a good looking man but I'm not attracted to overly fat or overly skinny men.

Blondiebeachbabe · 18/10/2024 20:59

whatever the terminology, I just prefer big men!

Had to Google him.

Don't get it.

Looks sweaty, unfit, unkempt, badly dressed... Not for me.

MasterBeth · 18/10/2024 21:03

WTF?

Anyone else prefer a heavy man to a skinny man?
CrispyCrumpets · 18/10/2024 21:03

What do you mean by skinny? Underweight? Given the choice I'd have someone of a normal, healthy weight. Definite yes to some muscles. But actually yes would prefer him to be a bit overweight than underweight.

Cerialkiller · 18/10/2024 21:03

Yes me too but because I'm pretty big boned myself, tall and broad shoulder and if I were standing next to a skinny guy I would look like Sasquatch!

DH is probably average size wise, only an inch taller then me, but he had a cat and a job and we got on like a house on fire so 😻

GrumpOlympics · 18/10/2024 21:04

Me, I definitely prefer a chunkier chubbier man. I don't like gym bodies either.

mynameiscalypso · 18/10/2024 21:05

His duet with Tracy Chapman at the Grammys this year was wonderful (although mainly because of Tracy obviously). That is all I know about him.

Jessie1259 · 18/10/2024 21:05

No, I don't find fat attractive at all, even when you call it 'heavy' or any other euphemism.

BiggerBoat1 · 18/10/2024 21:06

Definitely prefer a more upholstered man! Most skinny men don’t appeal (although I’d make an exception for David Tennant). Gym bodies definitely a big turn-off.

coffeeandteav · 18/10/2024 21:10

I wouldn't want a man smaller than me.

I once read never date a mam whose jeans you can't fit into. It has stuck with me.

Ilovelurchers · 18/10/2024 21:12

Yep, have always found bigger guys attractive myself - whether that is broad shouldered and muscular, or carrying more weight than they might ideally want to be. There is a limit and a level of obesity I would find unattractive - and also I would always be conscious of a partner's health and encourage them to make healthy choices.

But yes, to me a body that's larger and heavier than mine is sexy - in sex I like to feel a bit squished! I feel the same with women too (am bi) - attracted to more muscular women, and body types around 14-18 dress size.

Having said all that, I am mainly attracted by personality rather than appearance, but to the extent appearance makes a difference, my slight preference is for bigger! (I vary between an 8 and a 12 myself).

Smartiepants79 · 18/10/2024 21:15

Not a fan of very slim bods myself.
Luke Coombs doesn’t do much for me either mind you.
I think probably a broader chunkier bloke but fittish would be my ideal.

momager1 · 18/10/2024 21:16

my husband has never been "skinny" but never overweight until now..just a little but he has developed the dad bod. I find him sexier than ever. I don't have the same body as when young, but he loves me all the same! Dad bods ROCK as long as on the right "dad" dad bods on assholes..no thank you lol

RainbowColouredRainbows · 18/10/2024 21:17

No, I don't find it attractive. Overweight men usually snore too which I could never live with.

TheHeight · 18/10/2024 21:17

Nope

HoppyFish · 18/10/2024 21:17

Blondiebeachbabe · 18/10/2024 20:59

whatever the terminology, I just prefer big men!

Is this a case of like attracts like, or opposites attract. Are you a big woman?

Papyrophile · 18/10/2024 21:17

Absolutely not into chunky men! I hate muscle bulked physiques. Thin runner build every time.

XiCi · 18/10/2024 21:17

Yes my preference is definitely tall, broad, muscular. I don't tend to find skinny (or short) men attractive

abracadabra1980 · 18/10/2024 21:19

Absolutely.

buffyfaithspike · 18/10/2024 21:19

Yep, prefer squishy/heavier/fatter whether that's fat or muscle or both
I'm 5ft 10 and like the feeling of someone being physically bigger than me

TBH though body shape is the last thing I notice though so he could be 10 stone or 20 and I don't really mind either way as long as they're happy

His voice is amazing, one of my favourite artists

SabreIsMyFave · 18/10/2024 21:19

Agree. I don't like skinny/thin men either. MAMILs with their runners faces. No ta. Give me a beefy man with some timber on him any day. Preferably 6+ inches taller than me. So at least 5 ft 10.
