I only hear "it's been a minute" from my 6 year old when I tell her I'll do something in a minute and she takes it literally, counts to 60 and complains.

Instead of saying, to DH, 'do you fancy a mooch round the shopping centre' I asked if he would like a smooch around the shopping centre! He was up for it!😂😂

The pointless aimless "so" came from David Brent. Twenty five years ago! I agree, it needs to stop.

Also, turning a statement into a question, either via upspeak or written as text. Eg "I'm 24?" Are you asking me or telling me?

I wish people would stop saying "actively" so much.
