How the HELL is she allowed to refuse having her teeth examined? She must be a prime suspect, right?

It's probably not allowed to force someone's mouth open to do it.

Wishitsnows · 15/10/2024 16:18

The absolute horrors that port sweet child faced I can't even comprehend. I don't understand why the SS case was closed or why she wasn't with her real mother. Was he given custody via family courts?

Devastating to think we walk among such depraved beasts. They are inhuman and so therefore human rights should not apply to them, they lost their humanity long ago.

Makes me wonder if the other children were being abused, surely the parents didn't care for them either seeing as they were happy to expose the other kids to witnessing and hearing such horrifc scenes. They must all be traumatised. Obviously most of my compassion is for Sara but I feel really sorry for the other kids too.

Well it should be. All that can be done for that poor child now is ensure that her torturers are not protected and mollycoddled. The idea of people pussyfooting around those filthy demons is monstrous.

I'm off here now. But I swear, I have intervened, made myself look stupid on several occasions and would do so over and over again.

Recently I saw a girl of about 10 in nightwear runing around outside a place which houses people from a reugee back ground. I poked my nose in and also Reported in by email, no reply.

Better to intervene than to ignore warning signs and later hear a child has died. Good for you...I have also poked my nose in on occasion. I don't understand how neighbours could hear those things and not bother to report it.
My kids are home educated and I have nothing to hide personally but I've often found it slightly concerning that the local authority don't check up on kids very often (if at all)

Traces of the murdered 10-year-old's blood were found on the kitchen floor and on objects including a hoover and a cricket bat during a police search of the family home, the court heard.
More than one rolling pin was found with her DNA on as well as a brown leather belt which also had traces of her uncle and father's DNA, the prosecution said.
Jurors were shown images of some of the objects found by officers, including a rolling pin and a white pole.

Now, if social services were doing their job, they would have picked up on this?

This makes me physically sick and tearful. I hope prisoners beat them to death with similar objects. This country has failed their children.

I completely agree, and I do recall the new government saying they are going to do this.

But this has nothing to do with home education. Why aren't you blaming the school? She was being abused when she was in school and no action was taken.

millymoo1202 · 15/10/2024 16:35

Whole life tariffs for the lot of them absolute scum

Another raft of “lessons learned” by social services no doubt. I’m absolutely fucking sick of reading this stuff I really am. Schools obsessed with fining parents for taking their kids out for a week to Disney land but this girl was absent for 4 months and nothing was done.

School referred to social services. But then the parents took her off roll and registered her for home schooling. So she wasn't 'absent' for four months, she was no longer on their roll.

The school is not to blame. Though I bet that poor teacher who referred to social services must have this on her mind constantly, unreasonable blaming herself for doing what was absolutely the right thing, but which led to the father taking sara out of school where she could no longer be monitored.

Marcipex · 15/10/2024 16:38

I would like both home education and the hijab to be banned.
Both used to hide abuse.

ilovebrie8 · 15/10/2024 16:39

It’s beyond horrific ! I feel ill reading it let’s hope they get attacked by inmates and their lives are made hell! It’s sickening truly sickening absolute monsters …why did the school do nothing?? The horrors she endured jeez …prison is too good for these scum…some of the worst things I’ve read …sick bastards !

Zebrashavestripes · 15/10/2024 16:39

PumpkinSpicePie · 15/10/2024 15:30

She wasn't being home schooled, but that's what they told school when they took her out to hide the abuse. In this country it's legal to take a child out of school and say you are home schooling, regardless of whether you are or not.

Was she actually legally de- registered? The BBC use the term "withdrawn".

Think the step mother refuse to give teeth impressions.
They eliminated the bite marks were not from the males.
All.complicit in this horrific abuse.

Edited

well someone should knock her whole fucking teeth out ! And take an impression…sadists!

derxa · 15/10/2024 16:44

Dont usually read these threads but this has shocked me to the core. As a former teacher Id like to think I’d have done something but these devils escaped scrutiny. What do they get out of causing such pain.

The father informed the school she was to be home schooled with immediate effect. Informing the school is all you have to do as far as I know.

What ignorance. This is nothing to do with a hijab.

hotpotlover · 15/10/2024 16:45

I know people hope that other prisoners will hurt them, but sadly that won't happen. They will be classed as vulnerable prisoners and they will live with other prisoners who have hurt children as well.

lololulu · 15/10/2024 16:53

Is her birth mum in the picture?

Gummybear23 · 15/10/2024 16:54

Life in prison. Max sentence please. For all of them.
Bastard Beyond BASTARDS.
Beyond evil and shakes you to the core.
RIP Sara.

That's right, but I think it has to be in writing

@hotpotlover
She might have worn a hijab to school to cover her bruises, but she would have been surrounded by safe adults who she could have confided in or who would have been able to pick up that something was wrong with he

But she was at school, and she was observed with bruises, started wearing the hijab while at school. So she was "surrounded by safe adults she could have confided in or who would have been able to pick up that something was wrong with her". But the fact that she was in school and had those "safe adults" around her still didn't stop the abuse.

XenaPW · 15/10/2024 16:55

The teacher said that she reported the bruise via a referral so in 2023, social services would have been made aware of that bruise and their CP team would have visited her. The only issue is that the teacher said that Sara was not being clear on who was responsible and often families come in and out of being involved so Sara might not have shared what happened. They have been quiet as they have a national safeguarding case to look at all of what happened but they have to wait until the trial is finished.
