Pizza Hut Buffet

Posting here to hopefully get some quick answers.

So I will be going to Pizza Hut for the buffet, at the weekend with my child for one of her friend's parties.
There's a few of us going, and I've had a look online and at weekends it is 15.99 per adult and 10.99 for children !
I am absolutely not going to eat 15.99 worth of pizza! And I doubt my child will eat £11 worth.
Would I be unreasonable to just pay for my child and maybe have a slice of pizza or 2?
I know they charge different per head to stop this. But how do they police this ??
It's not a huge deal, but I would definitely like to know before I go, and like to know if other people do this or not ?

I'm on the fence about the pizza as depends if you are going to actually just have a slice rather than 5 but I would just pay the £15 or order a pizza separately!

But I am shocked that people don't think taking the cards from a shop is stealing! I used to have a card and gift shop and the amount we lost to theft each week was awful! If you can't afford/don't want to pay for 2 cards, don't pick 2 up!

Edit - are you referring to the post where you said sharing a pizza was a better idea? That doesn't actually answer how you feel about the stealing pizza or cards.

Oh please 🤣 I work in a similar setting to Pizza Hut. Hand on heart - nobody cares. And nobody’s losing their job over a spoonful of pasta and two slices of pizza.

The thread (have you read it?) is about whether two people can eat but only pay for one.
I'm sure the people running the business do care.

OP, I'd like to personally thank you for this thread this evening; it was unexpectedly entertaining. It has also inspired me to dine at my local Pizza Hut restaurant this weekend, where I shall be partaking in the buffet (and paying, obviously, just in case there was any doubt about that aspect of things...) 🍕😁

What an entertaining thread. Personally can’t imagine getting even a little bit worked up over the idea of an absolutely enormous corporation possibly losing out on £15 due to ops’ dastardly criminal plan of pizza sharing, but as we can see, there’s all sorts of people in the world!
