Pizza Hut Buffet

Posting here to hopefully get some quick answers.

So I will be going to Pizza Hut for the buffet, at the weekend with my child for one of her friend's parties.
There's a few of us going, and I've had a look online and at weekends it is 15.99 per adult and 10.99 for children !
I am absolutely not going to eat 15.99 worth of pizza! And I doubt my child will eat £11 worth.
Would I be unreasonable to just pay for my child and maybe have a slice of pizza or 2?
I know they charge different per head to stop this. But how do they police this ??
It's not a huge deal, but I would definitely like to know before I go, and like to know if other people do this or not ?

when a PP suggested she share a pizza off the main menu with her daughter instead. So in answer to your question, that is where she changed her mind about what to do. The rest thereafter is just humour / banter / whatever you want to call it. But it seems she made a decision to do something else quite early on in the thread.

Yes, you can have the buffet as a takeaway of all you can fit in the box. But if you eat in you don't get a box for your left overs.

To be pedantic technically the op is paying... unless she's sending her dd into the kitchen to washup to pay her way 🙈

Our local pizza hut closed so not been for years. But don't they do the salad bar anymore? They also have pasta on the menu if you don't have to have the buffet option could you get something off the pasta menu instead?

To be pedantic, she's paying for a child buffet and she's an adult.

Some people on this website are so judgemental it’s insane. OP I went to Pizza Hut with my family about a month ago, my sister wanted to try some buffet pizza but had ordered from the main menu - so I took some extra slices on my buffet plate and shared them with her. I also took some pasta and fed it to my two year old. No staff members told us off or charged us extra and nobody was arrested for the crime of ‘stealing pizza’ 🤣 but on another note, I remember the pizza being significantly nicer in my younger years than it is now. Can’t put my finger on what’s changed but it’s just a bit ‘meh’ now.

Just skip breakfast, wear your stretchiest pants, pack your big plate and buffet like a pro

Yep, she did. It wasn't the four page confession you want, but it was an acceptance that she was wrong.
