To conclude a fun thread I started about ‘stunning’ men can we vote on the marvellous Mr Peck please. He was mentioned over and over and over again by so many of us. Understandably of course. Love to see if it’s ‘official’ 🤣.

Gorgeous, yes - but Paul Newman is my fantasy lover. Or maybe Marlon Brando. 😍

On screen yes but my godmother saw him at the races once years ago and said in real life he wasn't as good looking as she thought he would be, make up, clothing and lighting enhances

There's a moment in "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" where, having been pursued high up into the mountains, Paul Newman insists their best option is to jump into the water below in order to escape - then Robert Redford admits he can't swim and Paul Newman laughs.... I have always thought in that moment, with his blue eyes shining and his wide smile and the laughter, PN the most handsome man that ever lived!

I've read (I think in an interview with Joanne) that Paul Newman's entire beautification routine consisted of him splashing his face with cold water every morning.

It worked for him! Certainly no "work" visible to me.

ETA someone once said Redford looks like what he is, a California blond who had a lot of sun. I respect him for not faffing with his face.
