Wintery Sunday in June!!!

Back from DS football and I can't get warm! Stripped out of wet clothes and now have fleece pjs on.

What the hell is this winter in June!!

Horrible isn't it. And the forecast tomorrow is pissing rain again.

I can’t get warm, have been to church early and have been under my heated throw since I got back ☹️

Pouring down and chilly here.

I normally don't mind Autumn/winter and I'm not a fan of very hot weather but even I want some sun now!

It's worse than last year, and I thought that was awful 😂

Got up and tidied up and fed the kids and have now gone back to bed with coffee and sweets and a big stack of Library books and staying right where I am!

not just me then? We were both under blankets watching tv last night and I’m sat in the car waiting for DP, heating is on my feet and it’s raining heavily, almost storm-like and cold!😟

It's nice and sunny here in Cumbria - not especially warm but definitely not fleece or heating weather!

It’s been sunny and I was really warm in the sun gardening but now it’s really chilly. 14° apparently.

Quite nice in south Wales. Was stunning this morning.

I've got a hat on, 3 layers of upper clothing and I'm just about not cold 🥶.

I walked along the beach this morning at 8am paddling in the surf in a sun dress. BUT I only went out early because by the afternoon it's cold here again on the Norfolk coast although it does seem to have dried out a bit.

It was beautiful and sunny and warm on the south coast this morning... just got off the train in London and it's cloudy and cold, I feel robbed!

It's 14c. That's not winter. Winter is 0C

@Watercoloursky I was in London mid May and it was a boiling hot summer's day and I was very much dressed for the chillier coastal weather I was used to although had at least remembered to leave my coat at home.

This is why the British talk about the weather so often though we are a relatively tiny isle and our weather just fluctuates so much.

I went for a walk this morning in a jacket. I'm having tea now to warm me up. Dh is cooking a stew. Don't think I've ever fancied hot tea or stew in June before.

It's horrible. Properly affects my mood when you can't get out and do anything.

It has done nothing but rain for weeks in the north west.

This sounds perfection.

Meanwhile in Sicily the local residents were telling me this morning that they’re worried about a 50º summer again (it was 35 by 11am today…).

Goes to show just how messed up the climate really is these days.

Boiling hot here in Crete, and getting hotter over the coming week 🌞⛱️🍹
