Back from DS football and I can't get warm! Stripped out of wet clothes and now have fleece pjs on.

What the hell is this winter in June!!

London is cold and grey. so depressing.

No rain on the south coast today, but intermittent sun and far too breezy for paddleboarding which was today's plan. It's bloody pitiful for June.

Well not in Somerset. Firmly grey skies chilly breeze and warm jumper required weather. And we are inland it’s always warmer here than by the coast.

Nice in South Devon this afternoon - really cold wind this morning! Made the mistake of looking at the forecast for the week ahead...😩

It’s so depressing….I’ve had the heated blanket on earlier!

Been quite nice here (north-east coast). Mainly sunny- couple of very brief showers eg 30 seconds or a minute. Very still. Warm enough to have doors open all day into the garden. It has started to look overcast in the last 10 minutes though.

Weird. I've been on my allotment in the shirt and shorts, cloudy but certainly warm enough. (South Coast)

It’s definitely been around 13 degrees in Dec/Jan before. A mild winter’s day but it has happened. It’s not often 0 degrees in Winter.

Rubbish weather.

Er...no it's not. Also in Glasgow and it is definitely not warm.

Apparently we are sucking air down from Iceland (and will continue to do so this week). So when the sun isn’t out and the wind picks up it will feel pretty chilly. However, the sun does have quite a bit of warmth to it at this time of year. So when the sun is out it makes quite a bit of difference. I think this explains the difference in the feel of the temperature in different parts of the country.

Only its supposed to be summer. We will probably get this for another month or so, then a 2 week 'heatwave' followed by rain until next year.
because british weather is a twat.🙁

If we’re lucky, the British Summer will kick in at the end of July - though it will probably come to an end at the beginning of August. 😞

it's not that bad in the south, bit chiller that usual and I didn't do my usual Thames swim today, but the sun's been shining. Pefect walking, gardening weather I would say

The sun went in where I was in the SE at about 10am and didn’t come out for the rest of the day. Bit of a pattern at the moment. It really does look awful next week as we are adding rain in the chilly mix. The sun has been taking the edge off the rubbish temperatures.

I'm deeply ashamed to admit that DH put the heating on. Only for an hour but still, it's June!

My heating is on, I’m bloody freezing! South East.

I live in the north of the UK and it hadn’t been above 15degrees so far this year! No way is it the hottest year on record for all of the UK! we didn’t really get a summer last year I feel like it’s been consistently autumn

Cool, overcast and raining here in Manchester. Perfect.

I've just put my heating on, my hands and feet are freezing. I'm under a blanket on the sofa and I'm still cold.

Yorkshire here and it's miserable. Almost constantly raining, with lots of wind and the odd bit of blue sky.

Nothing is growing as it should on our allotment, and the rain has brought out a ton of slugs. I feel like all we're planting is slug food.
