Wintery Sunday in June!!!

Back from DS football and I can't get warm! Stripped out of wet clothes and now have fleece pjs on.

What the hell is this winter in June!!

I’m utterly sick of this fucking weather. We had two separate days of ‘summer’ where the temperature got up to 18 degrees one day and 20 the other. The rest of the time it’s been grey with a lot of wind and COLD! Look at this - notice the temperatures. When it says ‘feels like’ they are very accurate. *edit: Derbyshire/Notts border.

It's been pretty good weather where I am in South Wales for the past few weeks, there's been lots of sunshine and blue skies, a little bit of rain, pleasant temperatures, perfect for working in the garden, makes a welcome change for us!
It's only early June though, plenty of time for horrible heatwaves to come in the next couple of months.

Oh good. I'll be there this time next week.

13 degrees and persistent heavy rain here. Just feels like your average irish summer's day!

I'm in the garden in my bikini in Dorset sheltered spot though as it is breezy

It's been a lovely sunny day albeit a bit breezy in this part of north Somerset. The washing has dried lovely out on the line today.

We had snow on Friday. Mind you, some of the ski resorts in the Rockies still had runs open on July 1 (Canada Day) last year.

Quite nice up North. Quite close though and had one quite heavy rain shower, but got very warm on my walk with friends and the rain came as we stopped for lunch.

It started off nice here this morning, I was wearing shorts and a vest. Now cold and back to tracksuit bottoms and a jumper!

Excellent - I'm coming out there midweek and I can't wait to get some heat!

Normally this week and next are two of the sunnier ones, because children are sitting exams!

It was lovely this morning,but it's grey and windy now.

Well it has been utter shite weather for the past 18 months - and we should call the effects on our national psyche The 'Great' Depressing Weather of 2023-24.

It is actually not too bad here in the SW if you stay out of the stiff breeze, which is not helpful to many here - but for fucking June!! - it's shite.

14C today would be more like early April than early June.

"Winter" is a bit of an exaggeration.

It's sort of turned into a benefit for me, as I'd forgotten to wash DDs polo shirts for school, so they've been done and are now on radiators drying nicely. DD is currently snuggled up with her blanket, and I'm lying on my bed with the cat, a hot cuppa and a candle!

Wish the wind and rain would fuck off though.

The next two weeks here are 15 degrees and rain. I’m in South East. It’s utterly rubbish
