DS just gave me this picture. I know there is quite a lot of variation but how old do you think is the child who drew this?

My daughter would have drawn that at 3 but my son at 5 so I would guess 4? But why even post something like this? Is it some sort of boast about how talented your 18mth is?

4 or 5. Looks like the sort of thing that many of the calmer children in my reception class (I’m a TA) could do if they were engaged.

My 6 year old, one could, one could not.

4 for DD but i know others who could draw like that at 3

My DD - who is arty would have drawn that at 2/3

My DS - could possibly have drawn that at 5.. but now at 15 I'm not sure he could be bothered with the level of detail to be honest.

I once worked with a child who was 5 - who drew a 3d train travelling down tracks towards the viewer - it was stunning, (far far better than the above picture). Both his parents were artists .

4-8 one of mine could do similar at 4 the other 8/9.
