Massive Facebook outage

Seems like something going very wrong with UK Facebook x

Been thrown off both FB and Messenger and Twitter suggests Instagram down too.

Just a heads up as I know most people here don't apparently use it but if you do for business etc it might be worth checking.

Anyone know anything about what is going on?

They had outages like this before. One not so long ago. It happens. I work in technology and we get similar issues occasionally, it will be back soon.

ive just had the same i was on facebook and now cnt get back in even changing my password didnt work

It's worldwide. Someone tripped over cable or something probably 😂

Facebook and Instagram are both Meta, WhatsApp isn't.
But yes, it's showing as down currently. Fortunately I don't need it but DD was disappointed we couldn't watch videos.

Mines telling me I can't log in as it doesn't recognise my device 🙄 only been using it for the last year fine lol x oh and "unexpected error" . Maybe the office cat has peed on the extension plugs?

Yes I also panicked I'd been hacked and phoned a friend - she's having the same issues. Oh well. At least YouTube is OK 🤣 Happy to have reassured a few people 😋 it's not us, it's them (for once lol)

If it's anything like our IT system they've tested a new process and forgot to switch a tiny part of it on again.

It's a worldwide thing. It happens.

I wonder if the fix will cause a similar glitch to the stalking befriending one.

Thank you for this info, couldn't understand why it kept asking me to log in then wouldn't let me, especially when I don't usually need to.
