Massive Facebook outage

Seems like something going very wrong with UK Facebook x

Been thrown off both FB and Messenger and Twitter suggests Instagram down too.

Just a heads up as I know most people here don't apparently use it but if you do for business etc it might be worth checking.

Facebook and Instagram are both Meta, WhatsApp isn't.
But yes, it's showing as down currently. Fortunately I don't need it but DD was disappointed we couldn't watch videos.

WhatsApp is also owned by meta

Oh no, how am I going to be able to know if the ‘big Asdas’ is open tomorrow? Or hope that everyone in an accident they they’ve heard about is ’all right xx’? Or tell everyone that a van has been seen in the area and that the occupants ‘look eastern European’? Or ask about the police helicopter?

let’s hope they fix at the same time the glitch on messenger that says that your business page is going to be closed down for security breaches. It’s really annoying and I get about 10 of these type of messages per week.

That isn't a glitch, its a phishing attack. It is not coming from meta -I had one from the Labrador and Golden Retriever society.

this thread is more helpful than google. Mine went down, asked me to log in; then didn't recognise my password, asked me to change it; then told me that i was going too fast and could be a spammer. I'll wait.

There is a data centre somewhere with a new cleaner who has unplugged a server to plug in a hoover.

This is supposedly anecdotal, but truly it happened in our company.

That was brilliant. My whole family got a friend request from the same person who was a previous colleague of my relative. She'd obviously snooped through us all.
