Princess Kate?

Internet is going nuts about it, the theories are insane.

Hope she’s ok

It saved my frIend’s life as well following twisted bowel. No wonder people don’t like to talk about their experience when some make disgusting comments.

Yes … but the person who alluded to this DOES work at the palace. I literally don’t care if they live together or they don’t. How their marriage works or doesn’t is of no relevance to me whatsoever. I think we can safely say that ‘fairytale’ marriages are thin on the ground in the royal family so it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if it’s true. I have no need to ‘add gravitas to the claim’. I’m just ‘spilling the tea’ on MN…because that’s what I was told 🤷🏼‍♀️

If you don’t care why ‘spill tea’? Anyone sharing such information is undoubtedly in breach of their employment contract and is spreading scurrilous gossip. If you have no interest or skin in the game, what would motivate you to post such a thing on here? Do you think it makes you look important or knowledgeable or something? Baffling.

According to the biographer lady Colin Campbell a big announcement is coming in April.

Well, that settles it - there’s no problem. I’ve never known that woman get anything right yet.

Pinktonic, it's an anonymous Internet forum, why police other posters?

Just putting my hand up to say thanks to SpiritOfEcstasy for that info - really interesting and not in the least surprising. Good to have it confirmed.

😂😂 one might even say overkill.
He might need six months off to recover from his Wrexham flurry!

You were the one saying with great confidence that he's taken three months off work. What a load of nonsense.

I'm leaning towards it being something a bit icky and embarrassing. Maybe she has a bag collecting her shit and doesn't want that image in the public's minds. She could do a lot for destigmatising that sort of condition if she were open about it, but she's more inclined towards prissy and uptight and less interested in something that might actually do good.

Do you have a stoma?
It is an incredibly difficult thing to deal with both physically and psychologically. My DM had one for 12mnths after bowel cancer surgery. Add in recovery from surgery where the incision that stretches from the pubic bone to the sternum (40cm approx) and it is no surprise that recovery takes time.
My DM, a nurse, struggled to accept it and admitted that she only dealt with it because she knew it was temporary.
I’m not suggesting that POW has had this procedure but a little compassion is in order.

The best way to imagine having the procedure is having your arsehole moved to the middle of your abdomen. The faeces continuously flows out of the stoma into a plastic bag that frequently leaks. It often takes time to find the best design of bag for your stoma.

The stoma stalk undergoes peristalsis, it can protrude several cms and is a little like an alien in appearance.

It’s easy to be flippant about a body altering procedures, but I totally disagree that she should share her experience for the greater good.

I don’t think anyone I know who has a stoma shares this information freely. I watched my DM struggle with her stoma early on, and to expect some to share that experience just because they are a public figure is insensitive and cruel.

Surprised to see this thread's still rumbling on after several days. I generally find endless speculation about the Windsors beyond dull, and initially only clicked on it because I assumed it referred to someone's relative having gone missing. That was very sneaky of you, incidentally, @Amillionmenwenttomowameadow.

I do find it very entertaining that her two months' worth of absence have apparently generated more interest than the decade+ of her presence, scant engagements and occasional stilted speeches combined. What a sell for the Windsors! In their shoes, I think I'd quite legitimately be asking myself and my PR team what in the hell is wrong with this picture.

Terminal lazyitis might just about cover it.

thefallen · 02/03/2024 11:36

Sorry, should perhaps have made clear that the ickiness is in contrast with the expectation that Kate should be polished and camera ready at all times and not have anything as base as a body.

The need for a stoma can happen to any of us (DF has one so I've become a bit gallows humour about it).

notagainski · 02/03/2024 11:43

If she has had a bowel resection and stoma then it would explain the longer absence as she gets used to it and she (and her staff...) learn to manage it. It could be tricky at public appearances. They will have to work out the logistics of how to deal with it.

A friend of mine had one and he was very open about it. It was a right nuisance for him. The bags leaked sometimes and he'd be sitting with us and then suddenly there would be a smell. He would just get up and go and deal with it.

There is no way the royals are going to issue a statement saying she has a stoma. The articles and gossip about it would be awful. If this is what has happened it will all have to be very carefully managed.
It might not be that - could be anything really. My friend had surgery for endometriosis and also a hysterectomy and she couldn't work for 3 months and then went back part time.

😂 nope. None of the above…the post is called ‘so where is she?’ My answer is living in her cottage with her kids in Windsor … because that’s what I was told. Have you not read the ‘I worked for famous people AMA’ posts? Or ‘who have you dated that is famous? Etc. Have you missed the spilt tea/gossip elements of MN? Do you think gossip doesn’t happen within the palace? People don’t talk to their friends or families about the goings on? And yes they may well be in breach of their ‘employment contract’ but they didn’t sell the story to the press … I wonder which employee broke ranks and sold the one about the Prince of pegging though 😂 oops! There I am … trying to make myself look important again 😂

It’s strange you should say that, because that’s precisely what we heard in our London office. It’s marital issues. It’s an open secret.

I can’t say but she is married to someone related to the Queen. They said the surgery did happen but is now being used as a cover because Kate has moved out.

Newchapterbeckons · 02/03/2024 12:21

Her parents are with her - this is not unexpected. Up to now I had thought she was seriously ill, but what do I know? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Porkfest · 02/03/2024 12:21

It’s not possible that a whole hospital system and The Met Police security agreed to stage a fake admission and operation to hide marital issues.

Where has she moved out to?

How do you know her parents are with her?

What is unexpected?

Because they have been living separately for a while. Parents are definitely there. She isn’t at home, and is not expected to return, that’s all I know.

You've suddenly decided to announce this have you. Totally convincing.

Newchapterbeckons · 02/03/2024 12:30

As in the marital home, which doesn’t seem to exist these days for all intents and purposes.

Maybe she wants to stay at Windsor whilst she recuperates, and it's not unusual for parents to stay with their son/daughter whilst they recover from major surgery.

I was just agreeing with another poster. As that explanation is firmly established in the city - as I learnt yesterday.

Hang on - you’ve been posting increasingly bizarre theories and accusations on this thread for days now. Are you really expecting us to believe you’d wait until page 25 to let slip that you’re in contact with a royal in-law?

A few pages back you were saying you believe Kate is in a coma. Why would you say that if you actually know from a member of the family that she’s moved out due to marital problems? It can’t be that serious a coma if she can move house.
