Just that, how many of you know your husbands/partners passcode for their phone?

GreatGateauxsby · 27/12/2023 23:00

Yes I do. He knows mine too.

saltinesandcoffeecups · 27/12/2023 23:00

Does it count that I’ve been told it multiple times but can’t be bothered to remember it?

I may be set up on his facial recognition, but can’t remember

thebestinterest · 27/12/2023 23:01

We know each others, but not because we set out for it to be that way.

Sometimes he doesn’t have his phone handy and needs to take a picture to send to himself, or look up something or disconnect me from the Bluetooth, and vice versa.

elgreco · 27/12/2023 23:01

Yes

Listentogold · 27/12/2023 23:01

Yes and he has mine. Plus I know his pin number for his bank account.

socks1107 · 27/12/2023 23:02

Yes, sometimes we open each others phone when driving for various reasons

user701 · 27/12/2023 23:02

Of course

GoatsareGOAT · 27/12/2023 23:02

Yes we know each others & the kids all know mine too
We trust each other enough to have full access and not invade each others privacy

meganorks · 27/12/2023 23:03

Yeah, I do. Not because I've been snooping but because he's told me for when he's driving or something and I need to look for something. I've never been snooping.

pilates · 27/12/2023 23:03

Yes and he knows mine

Goodlard · 27/12/2023 23:03

RJnomore1 · 27/12/2023 23:00

No I have no need to but in an emergency I’d bet it was either one of mine or the kids birthdays it out wedding anniversary. Or if not something to do with Celtic 😂

Kanelsnegl · 27/12/2023 23:03

Yup, same as mine as I have his old phone.

Floralnomad · 27/12/2023 23:03

No because he changes it regularly but he’s always asking me to text / WhatsApp people as he has fat fingers so is happy to share it . He’s welcome to use mine whenever .

mynameiscalypso · 27/12/2023 23:04

No. I think he knows mine because it's the same as on my iPad and he sometimes has to unlock that for DS to play with it. Wouldn't even occur to me to ask for it or to use his phone for anything. I always have my own phone on me.

OzziePopPop · 27/12/2023 23:04

I’m 99% certain it’s one of two or three… it’s not a secret but I have no reason to access his phone so don’t keep on top of knowing it

FreshWinterMorning · 27/12/2023 23:05

What's making me laugh is the posters saying 'I have my husband's passcode to his phone, but I NEVER look at his phone,' and 'I have all the passwords to his email addresses, his bank account, his social media accounts, his facebook messenger, and everything, but I NEVER look at them.'

😆 😂

Gardeningtime · 27/12/2023 23:05

Yes but he doesn’t know mine, mines a work phone though. I have to go into his often, things from banking text codes, to him being a bit shit at answering texts or finding stuff. I never search it though or do more than I am needing to do.

CrunchyCarrot · 27/12/2023 23:05

He uses facial recognition for both of us, so I can access it.

Ponderingwindow · 27/12/2023 23:06

Yes and he knows mine.

i don’t go digging around in his phone for no reason, but sometimes he asks me to do something with it and sometimes he just leaves it unattended and it alerts enough I know I need to deal with it.

Do you look at yours then?

Why would I look at my DHs and vice versa?

It's boring, I'm sure.

Do you not understand trust in a relationship?

How odd!

GodDammitCecil · 27/12/2023 23:07

Yes, because we both use the same 4-digit PIN for everything, and both add two 0s to the front of our phone passcodes.

No, we never look at / through each other’s phones. If one of us has left our phone behind and needs to make a call or use the camera or such like, we might ask to borrow the other’s phone.

I don't know why that's funny. I never look at DP's phone even though I could, I just don't bother, I have no reason to. As for the banking and stuff, as I am the head of Admin in the house, yes of course I look at it, I manage all his stuff, nothing would get done otherwise!

CeeceeBloomingdale · 27/12/2023 23:08

No, he'd tell me if I asked but I'm not interested in knowing it. He's the same with mine.

What’s so funny about it…..?

Are you just nosy, or do you not respect people’s privacy?

Cas112 · 27/12/2023 23:09

Yes
