To ask how often you clean your loo?

Settle an argument with DH, who thinks me bleaching the toilet each day is OTT. My reasoning- it's the grossest place in the house, why wouldn't you?!

DS doesn't have a very good aim so I usually end up giving it a quick wipe down most days. If it wasn't for him I would only do this once a week.

Bleach once a week. I'd actually consider myself quite obsessive about germs but of everywhere they could be I really don't see the problem with there being some germs down the toilet.

ETA...Hadn't read all OPs comments. With bowel issues although I wouldn't do it every day I can understand it feeling a bit icky. But otherwise stand by my comment above.

Once a week... Maybe an extra one if it's particularly gross... No bleach ever the smell makes me want to vomit. Horrible stuff.

Bleach once a week, I use minimal chemicals in the house and this is my one concession. Otherwise use toilet brush or paper to clean after use.

Once a week, but I spot clean as needed too ofc.

Twice a week

Once a week. If there is anything left behind then the loo brush and bleach gets activated as required.

We Harpic the loos once a week then I also give them a clean (hand down, scrub around) weekly.

Any poo marks have loo roll dipped in the water (so it wicks up and sticks the loo roll to the toilet / poo) put on them, which then cleans it off the next time the loo is flushed.

Daily. Plus a major,deep clean once a week.

Wipe down sink and bleach toilet everyday (3 boys in this house 🤢). Scrub round the taps with a toothbrush type clean weekly.
