Love it. Absolute bargain. Parking for you and guests could be an issue though

Menopants · 27/11/2023 22:32

It’s right on the a1. Practically on it. So no I wouldn’t consider it

Zaney40 · 27/11/2023 22:33

I only need 3 bedrooms

Ellmau · 27/11/2023 22:35

It still has quite a pubby feel, and I don't know about the two kitchens - the layout doesn't work for splitting into two flats. Lots of reception spaces but the bedrooms look quite small. Wouldn't be keen on the front door right on the road.

HappyHappyy · 27/11/2023 22:35

I'd love so much space, the garden is brilliant too! Five toilets and two kitchens though - probably would rework the floor plan to reduce the cleaning required 😆

Buddybud · 27/11/2023 22:35

Two kitchens is a little weird otherwise love it.

Right on the main road with no parking would put me right off. Bedrooms look cramped. It would be a no from me.

DodgyDiagram · 27/11/2023 22:38

Nah. Not a fan. Downstairs room looks dark and there’s too much wallpaper everywhere for me.

Menopants · 27/11/2023 22:38

High flood risk

VioletBeauregardeTheFirst · 27/11/2023 22:39

It's got the space if you've got the money to make it anything you wanted. I'd need to be inside to listen to the road noise (I'm right near an A road and I can't hear it at all because of how the house is orientated).

RosesAndHellebores · 27/11/2023 22:39

Where would you park. Guest house sprang to mind but where would guests park?

Buddybud · 27/11/2023 22:40

On street I guess.

ghostyslovesheets · 27/11/2023 22:40

bit bland, nightmare to heat, pub is vile, main road, odd view from the sloped roof bedroom, no garden pics, no parking, like some of the upstairs - a lot for a 3 bed terrace

How much is it? I couldn’t see a price?

MadameCamembert · 27/11/2023 22:43

Very Scottish exterior - not a bad thing, just an observation that’s it’s a very strong style.

I couldn’t live with it being literally on the road and no parking. However I think it’s lovely inside and has a fantastic garden. Do you drive? If not, and you just want easy walking/bus access then it could be a winner?

ghostyslovesheets · 27/11/2023 22:43

does it still have the pub urinals?

Redlarge · 27/11/2023 22:43

Buddybud · 27/11/2023 22:40

Other people further up have parked on the street outside thier door. Anyway to access the back to park there?
Does that field on the pic belong to the house or are they just showing the view 🤔

Scarletttulips · 27/11/2023 22:43

270

Nope - you need a lot of building work to make it worth while. Tiny kitchen downstairs and big kitchen diner upstairs.

Redlarge · 27/11/2023 22:44

Only £270k. Cant buy diddly squat round our way for that. Definitely nothing like this.

WonderingWanda · 27/11/2023 22:45

Weird layout. How would you use the space. The pp who said it felt like a pub is spot on, I assume it used to be one.

KimberleyClark · 27/11/2023 22:46

Ridiculous amount of space for the money, but its position isn’t ideal.

Mad isn't it - mine is worth about that - 4 bed semi, large kitchen dinner, study, drive for 3 cars, big garden, 10 mins from the station - 1hour 15 mins from Euston!

Heronwatcher · 27/11/2023 22:47

I could live with the on street parking but not the massive road over the hedge, so it would be a no from me. I’d get something smaller or less done up inside and save/ extend.

Nah, looks like there’s a garden then a field on Google earth. Just the view I think. No pics of garden, might be a state.

It could work for multi generational living I suppose.
