AIBU to be in bits over an episode of Bluey?

I have teenage kids so this show wasn't on my radar until one of the kids favourite YouTubers did an episode on it. For anyone who doesn't know it's an Aussie pre-school cartoon. I just watched 'Babyrace' which is about competative parenting. I was pretty blubbery when one of the mums told Bluey's mum, she was doing great. But the last line 'May be she saw something she wanted...' totally finished me off. I think I need to watch them all now. It's on Disney Plus in the UK.

I love baby race, to be honest they're all fab, although my right hand has been "Shaun" for about 8 months now, every bloody night, which I've had enough of now😂

Reminds me of the Christmas me and my sister sat and sobbed at Old Jack's Boat on CBeebies. Everyone sat round laughing at us but it was so touching!!

Wait until you see the cricket one, sleepytime and the one with Chilli's sister in S3.

Honestly the programs made me cry just as much as it's made me laugh. Watch them all it's the best program for children I've ever seen.

The one where at the end of the episode Chilli is sat on the dock with her dad and they're talking about when she was small and she says "that was a long time ago" and her dad says "no, it was only yesterday" and the image morphs into them sitting on the dock side by side when she was a child 🥹.

It is wrapped up in how much I miss my dad though.

Am glad I'm not the only one. I remember sobbing over some of the things on Cbeebies when the kids were very young but assumed it was just post baby hormones!

Bluey is amazing & the Sleepytime episode is a work of art! My kids laugh and I cry like a baby 😊

I cry at Babyrace every time and I've seen it quite a few times!

My favourite episode is actually Takeaway though, I just find it so funny, it's exactly DH and my relationship hah.

I sobbed at Onesies (the one with Chilli’s sister).

It’s a beautiful cartoon. TV doesn’t get much better than Bluey.

Mine are well past Bluey, but I sent my daughter the link to the last Goodbye song from Bear in the Big Blue House when she was away. “Why did you do thaaaaaaat? Sob sob sob.”

DD has the baby race book, can't get through it without shedding a tear. It's the best.
