He has no backbone, no coherent policies (u-turns a dozen times a day)and no understanding of ordinary people's lives. Plus he wears all his clothes a size too small, which really irritates me.

But true!!!!!!!

There is no mistaking women will NOT exist under Labour.

Anyone voting Labour should their eyes wide open to what they will lose. Their rights, identity and dignity.

This is not a small thing!!!
For 300,000 years we have been fighting to be heard!!!!

@Lastchancechica was it Labour who removed my right to live, work or study in much of the rest of Europe if the fancy took me?

Luckydip1 · 02/10/2023 20:01

We should be getting behind the PM, not knocking him down.

itsgettingweird · 02/10/2023 20:01

Well I've been a female under Tory for 13 years. I've not been impressed with their woman's rights attitude either.

Fellow females have been raped in hospital because males are allowed in female spaces if they say their are trans.

Make rapists can go into woman's prisons.

Stonewall have been allowed to infiltrate the curriculum.

I'm not saying any party has impressed me with woman's rights.

But whilst we fight this important battle I'd rather do it with a function education, health and social care system, public services and economic growth.

It's not a vote winner for me with any party. If I was voting on woman's rights only I'd spoil my ballot!

We should be getting behind the PM, not knocking him down.

Why? We have a vote for a reason.

Isitsixoclockalready · 02/10/2023 20:05

The fact that Sunak is desperately trying to use the car as a single issue platform when there are so many other issues facing us at the moment, tells us all we need to know about the cynicism and ineptitude of this administration. First all the failed culture war bollocks and now this. Why would anyone be even thinking of giving this shower another chance?

We should be getting behind the PM, not knocking him down.

Why?

Isn't it the PM's job to support the country not knock it down?

Anyome told Liz Truss, Suella Braverman, Priti Patel?

jgw1 · 02/10/2023 20:07

Labour can't come up with such policies because they don't know what a woman is.

Shall we post this article in answer to that version of But Jeremy Corbyn?

That's not how democracy works.

MrTiddlesTheCat · 02/10/2023 20:16

I must admit I'm very worried about Labour getting in with regards to the whole trans/women's rights issue. Remember what it was like 13 years ago, those terrifying times when we all just happily muddled along together?

pointythings · 02/10/2023 20:17

Well, clearly the Tories know what a woman should be for: Kinder, Kuche, Kirche.

They want to bring up the birthrate - but they brought in not paying child benefit for third and subsequent children.

They want to bring up the birthrate - but have done fuck all to provide young people with affordable housing so that they can afford to have families.

They want to bring up the birthrate, but they have done nothing to make childcare affordable, easily available and high quality.

Meanwhile I see nothing in anything Labour is saying that is going to prevent me from saying I am a woman.

Women won't exist under Labour in the same way trans people would be "erased" under the Conservatives.

We would still be here, giving birth, being pushed into poverty and dying of misdiagnosed heart attacks.

At least Labour have a policy to try to stop men being violent to us.

Rishi seems to expect a round of applause for saying "women can't have penises" (can't mention female genitalia, periods or reproductive biology. That would be icky and gross).

Frankly being able to say women are adult human females and deserve protection as such is the very least we should expect.

And before anyone says it, "woman = adult human female, sex based protection is important" is exactly Labour's stated position. You just don't believe it.

AdamRyan · 02/10/2023 20:44

No to immigration! Yes to babies!
The country is full, except in the case of cute little British babies. More please!

What a ridiculous policy position 🙄

DuncinToffee · 02/10/2023 20:54

And just for those who are claiming how intelligent and capable Sunak is, backing up important files is not his forte

https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2023/oct/02/sunak-fails-to-hand-whatsapp-messages-from-time-as-chancellor-to-covid-inquiry

What is he hiding?

"This government will have integrity, professionalism, and accountability at every level. Trust is earned and I will earn yours."

Sunak 25/10/22.

Sunak fails to hand WhatsApp messages from time as chancellor to Covid inquiry

Exclusive: PM claims he has changed phone since running the Treasury and did not back up the messages

Bit bloody late. By the time most kids born now are old enough to care for the ageing most boomers will be dead and the age crisis will be over.

Looks demanding. I'll definitely check out Foreigners;Bastards but the champagne break should have started earlier.

DuncinToffee · 02/10/2023 21:44

Starmer leads Sunak by 9%.

At this moment, which of the following do Britons think would be the better Prime Minister for the UK? (1 October)

Keir Starmer 41% (-2)
Rishi Sunak 32% (-2)

Changes +/- 24 September
