Women's football brings out the entitled misandrists

On holiday and a table was booked by a woman. She started off complaining to the owner about the amount of places set, it turned out that she has got her numbers wrong. No apology for her rudeness.

She then told him he was to put the women's football on. He said the TV had been booked at whatever time but he could turn it on until then.
She said why what is on and he said the premier league's 1st game men's football, She let out a massive groan at the word men's football and told everyone to get up and leave!

This entitled imbecile reserved the table and tried to lose the place money as she couldn't get her way. Luckily the place is very popular so the owner didn't lose any money.

AIBU to think that all these demands that everything must stop because women are playing football are by the entitled types, who impose their views on everybody else. Personally I couldn't give a toss which sex is playing!

I'm a person who would rather enjoy my holiday without football, but I don't mind it that much do I wouldn't feel I was entitled enough to tell the owner what he should put on his TB

i don’t like football but I am amazed that somewhere which shows sports didn’t prioritise the women’s game if it’s the England game you mean.

This isn’t misandry. There’s nothing to suggest she hates men as a class.

Just sounds like an entitled and ride woman who expected to get her way.

Im not sure misandry is even a thing tbh, it’s just something men say to try to put women back in their box.

The groaning at “men’s” was probably that she was sick of men’s sport always being prioritised, much as she was both unnecessarily rude about it and also it was misplaced as the place clearly had a TV booking system she was unaware of.

Tbh it sounds like you have come to a forum that's mainly posted on by women to complain about women

Sounds like someone who doesn’t watch football regularly. Every pub I’ve worked in has switched from 1 game to another throughout the day. There’s quite a lot of time and money spent making sure they aren’t on at the same time as equally popular team/games. She sounds like someone that only goes to a work night out, orders a round of 30 drinks and ends with the 5 Guinness.
