DP refusing to be seen with me if I'm wearing gold trainers (light hearted)

A few years ago I told my DP that if I ever bought gold shoes he was to take me out and shoot me.

I've now changed my mind and bought myself some gold trainers. I love them and they're really comfy.

But DP doesn't like them and has reminded me of what I said. He says he won't be seen in public with them.

I had some glittery gold Superga I loved until they broke. Definitely in for gold trainers. I’m not sure these are the ones to make the case for them though sadly (fwiw I’m 35)

I wore my crocs out today… found it a liberating experience.

I’d hope any of us are more than the sum of our footwear, and anyone that judges you on your footwear alone isn’t worth the time or space in your head.
