I'm trying to be more environmentally conscious and buying clothes off of vinted and weird question I know but there's loads of brass on vinted and I was talking to DH about it and he thinks it's a bit weird but at the same time .. they're just boobs?

Like I've bought some dresses off there and who knows they could have worn them braless or whatever.

I just can't decide how weird it is, so would you buy second hand bras?

Obviously knickers are another matter, those are still being bought new! Grin

I’ve bought second hand bras all throughout my pregnancy second hand! I don’t have the money to fork out for new bras every few months. Got all my nursing bras there too as they are a few £s each as opposed to £40+ (unusual size!)

I wouldn't buy a bra second hand. But that's because I find you never need the size you think you need in a particular brand/style, so chances of getting it right first time would be difficult (not what you want in a Vinted purchase) and also, bras lose their effectiveness with every wash. The wire could have gone, the elastic could have been overstretched... I need my bra to do some heavy duty lifting.

I saw pants available on a Facebook sharing group Envy

Yes, I have loads of second-hand bras. I fail to see how tit sweat is much different than armpit sweat once it's been through the machine.

But bras are not supposed to go through the washing machine, I do mine by hand so either they’ve been through the wash and are potentially destroyed or have only been hand washed and are potentially not cleaned as thoroughly

I’ve seen them in charity shops, but personally no.

Yes, and I have.

Bras in my size cost ££ I can't just pick one up for £5 from Primark. I've bought bikini's too.
