To wonder why the FUCK this guy isn’t in jail?!

A man has been given an 8 month suspended sentence after bashing the crap out of his 15 year old daughter with a metal bar. Apparently he did it because she’d committed the heinous crime of wearing make up to school… which she’d put on to cover up the bruises from previous times he’d bashed the crap out of her. Two years of abuse this child has endured at his hands.

But because this poor kid gave a statement asking for leniency, saying SHE feels guilty because SHE has brought shame on her family, he’s basically got away with it.

AIBU to think this man is a violent criminal who belongs in prison?!

As for her statement, of course she’d have been bullied into saying she doesn’t want him going to prison!!

That's some level of savagery. And he bit her face ffs - you don't have to work for the FBI behavioural unit to know that level of personal violence and degradation will escalate.

I couldn't believe this earlier when I read it. Absolutely disgusting and my fear is an "honour killing" (or murder as everyone else with an ounce of common sense call it) waiting to happen. He deserves a minimum of 10+ years in prison for this.

“Adapt to new cultural behaviour expected of him”? Wtf have I just read? What an insult to all the men who manage not to beat their daughters and bite their faces who come from the same cultural background as him .
He sounds so dangerous and he will do more violence, of that I am certain.

Well quite. This implies there is a cultural justification for violence against women and children when it’s disgusting violent men exploiting the system to be disgusting and violent. No culture in the world says you can bite your daughter when angry. For shame. He looks like a religious man. I hope he goes straight to hell with the other demons.

Judge probably leathered his own kid regularly with a wooden spoon and sympathises with the defendant.

Yes, this just gives the message that it is ok to treat women and girls like this, he will now think he can carry on, I just hope this poor girl and all others like her can eventually escape before they are killed.

I'm sick of men who beat and kill.

Massive twat. I once overhead a conversation on a bus, a Woman was explaining to her friend that her young child could not go to school because he had bruises from his dad beating him up. This is so normalised in some places.

This is the uk . Women are not second class citizens. They are equal to men apart from body strength . He should have been jailed and made an example of .

He has brought shame on his family. He could have dealt with this in a different way .

She says in her statement that her mother and other families were scared of him. So he isn't adapting to a new culture, he's a violent man that has gotten away with his behaviour until now. He's not going to change.
