This morning I’m struggling to believe any of the new threads I’m opening. Even S&B is weird. Everything seems to be the sort of insubstantial cliched situation a young AI might spit out for fun.

At least I know the Archers thread is real! Although who knows how long it will be before the show is written by not-humans?

I agree - it’s all got a little weird around here lately. The writing style of a lot of posts by seemingly different posters is similar, and the responses given to questions asked are just plain weird sometimes, if the even respond to questions.

Yep, I saw several this morning, and strangely they get lots of replies.
I don’t even open threads anymore if all words in the title are capitalised.

I get the original message is odd a lot of the time but it is the over investment of replies I don't get I think people like living other people's dramas

Think half the replies on certain threads are generated by bots lately, they all seem to be the same reply just worded in a different way. Maybe we could have a special code to let others know we are real???

Might be time for MNHQ to consider a verification for posts, though it is quite an annoying feature.

There are also non AI made up ones. There was a spout of posts with exactly same issues eg missing words and same syntax. Just random weird posts from new usernames.
