to think female newsreaders and presenters shouldn't wear make up

|I am absolutely sick of seeing men on TV with normal, natural looking faces, and the women sitting next to them with their faces smeared with gunk. Why can't women show normal, natural looking faces on TV too? What a horrendous disgusting message we are passing on to young girls. "You need to waste time and money smearing gunk on your face to be allowed to be seen in public"

& I Would love to see some examples of these newsreaders with “gunk” all over their faces… I usually think they look quite nice!

Surely there are more important issues in life than presenters wearing make up. Does it matter

Women wearing make up is absolutely standard, unless you are in Afghanistan, where you have your nails pulled off if they catch you painting them. And newsflash, everyone on TV is wearing make up or they look like death dawned over because of the aggressive lighting.

I work in the cosmetic industry and I have never put make up on for men. I wear it for me. It's bloody art these days (think glow up).
And tbh who cares. Tilda Swinton doesn't wear any and looks great.
Personal choice for the sisterhood please.
