Please tell me if you would be annoyed if someone wore this to your wedding. It was worn with a plain white dress blazer and white shoes for context.

The way it is 'known' that you wear black or dark colours to a funeral (unless specified 'please wear pink' or whatever) at a wedding, the only person who is 'highlighted' in white should be the bride.

To go against this is considered a bit of a 'fuck you' to the bride.

Only to brides who are looking for a reason to be offended over something that really doesn’t matter 🤷‍♀️

nobody would ever think “oh I wish I’d noticed what the bride was wearing but I was distracted by that relative in a white blazer”. And no bride I know would ever be bothered by it. It’s utterly ridiculous.

as for the comparison to a funeral, utterly ridiculous.

I imagine she removed the jacket at the reception so it would have been fine.

Aha!!!

But she had already been ( wait for it ) - seen in a white blazer!!!

Wrong choice of outfit coupled with the white blazer and shoes but not worth having a word about. Guests can never really upstage a radiant bride!

No, why?

No it wouldn't bother me. The dress isn't remotely like a wedding dress and is a floral print summer dress, rather than a plain white one.

However - the all white accessories may be more of an issue. If you have a white blazer over the top that will lead it to the outfit being more of a block of white.

So if wearing the dress I would move to have accessories in a different colour, to offset all the white.
