Elf Bar witchcraft

I've name changed before posting this but have been here a good while.

I am a smoker...a heavy smoker. Over the past year I've been getting crosser and crosser with wasting so much money. I started to see disposable vapes in all the shops and noticed how much cheaper they are.

Over the years I have tried to stop smoking a few times and have tried lots of alternatives including vapes (last time was 5 years ago)

On Saturday I bought an elf bar on a whim, just to see what they were like. For the rest of the day I smoked miles less than I would have normally done

Yesterday, I smoked 10 fags (or there abouts) to my normal 30ish. This is with drink and a smoking DH.

Today I have had 5 and am choosing the elf bar as default.

This is witchcraft isn't it??

I realise there are many potential risks with a vape (the reason I have always said I won't vape) however I'm sick to the back teeth of smoking and everything to do with it...yet I can't stop. This contraption has, so far, had the same effect, completely by accident. I haven't made a decision to quit smoking (if I tell myself I'm not allowed to smoke I will immediately smoke 20 fags as that's how my brain works lol) but I cannot believe how effective these things have been!! I have cigarettes on the side yet I've just gone to the vape instead.

Has anyone else had this? If you have what are your tips and recommendations for flavours to help me swap out the fags for good!

There's a kiwi guava and something else one that's green. It's pretty special.

I really like the Mr blue crystal bars but I wanted to save more money, so I've brought a vaporesso off amazon and buy the elfbar liquids off eBay, blue razz lemonade is my fave by far. I was sick of being followed by the Council contractors searching for folk to fine for dropping buds on the ground, even though I never did they made me feel uneasy. The vaporesso was about 15£. the liquids are 5 for 11.89 they last me a month. I've saved a fortune.

I use a Voopoo Drag X as the disposable ones just don't sit right with me. I can recommend onepoundeliquid.com (does what it says on the tin) for juice refills, a good range of flavours (I love the menthols!) and they arrive quickly. DM me if you want a referral for a discount!

If you’re looking for an easy non disposable - I would highly recommend the Caliburn G. It’s a top fill, you change a coil every few weeks. Fill with elf liq. Also seen the Oxva recommended lots on vape pages. I know disposables are character than ciggies for you - but refillables are even cheaper 😁

Thanks for this thread telling me about elf liquids! Restarted smoking when mum died a few weeks ago and have a new quit date looming. I love the kiwi and watermelon flavours in the elf bars, but don't like the environmental impact, so these are perfect.

Does anyone find the flavour only lasts about half the vape? Unsure if I get used to it and can't taste it anymore.

DP had some that this happened to but he bought them from Vape Club so they asked him to return them and sent replacements. It was a dodgy batch.

Ive given up the cigs with vaping. Never tried elf bars though as not keen on disposable plastics.
I bought this vape kit - https://www.vapouriz.co.uk/aspire-riil-x-pod-kit-700mah.html which is metal and just a bit bigger than a zippo lighter so hand and pocket friendly.
I just change coils weekly and buy 50/50 vpg/pg liquids to go in it. Currently on cherry Bakewell flavour from double drip.

Another one saying thanks for the threadTook me three shops but I found disposable creamy tobacco. The actual vape shop only does fruit ones.

I only smoke about 3 a day (since lockdown, not all my life) but it's expensive and I won't smoke indoors.

Really stupid question probably - should I reseal it? I bought Vuse disposable. Nice, no faffing. I know it says 500 puffs but I don't know how long that will last me. I guess we'll find out! But so much cheaper and not having to worry about the smell.

I have just ordered some elf bars because of this thread, coming tomorrow so we will see how they go, i have tried vaping before many years ago back when it was really only tobacco flavoured and hated it so hopefully these are better!

I’ve never used a disposable because I gave up smoking 7 years ago and they weren’t around then.
I still vape. Dropped the nicotine levels right down very quickly but I still have a bottle of high strength in my kit just in case.
The flavours you like at first when you’re weaning yourself off tobacco don’t tend to be the ones you like long term. I started with pina colada and jam on toast and moved onto caramel, butterscotch and custard where I’ve stayed.

It is witchcraft. It works

I didn’t know you could buy the liquid. It comes in 10mg as well as 20mg too, so I might switch to that to cut down on the nicotine content. I aim to give up completely but I find the 20mg disposables really addictive. Still better than smoking though.

I find the 20mg elf liq really good I was smoking about 40 a day and now I only have one and that's in the morning u can get a box of 10 oils for £30 online u just have to look around

Evening everyone, just been reading through all these lovely replies!! Thankyou all for reading and replying - and hi to the people who are joining the cult 🤣

So, I tried a lost Mary today (aniseed) and omg they're amazing! I have had 4 fags (2 of which were before 6.30 am so this is now my third day of winning!!!!!

I actually have 4 disposables in different flavours on the go so that I don't go taste blind or get bored....seeing as this experiment seems to be working I'm running with it full pelt 🤣

I am now quite certain that this is going to work for me and I truly believe it's witchcraft as believe me when I say, I was a very heavy, habitual smoker. I never in a million years thought buying a bar would cut me down this far so fast. My mind is blown!!!!!

Once I'm more confident and know a bit more what I like I'll definitely be looking for a reusable one.

Hope everyone else that's trying it is getting on ok. May the force be with us all 🤣

I find the disposable ones don’t give me enough of a “mouth feel”, but I use the bar juice with a Vaporreso and it’s just right
