How often do you change your bedding?

Just as the title says really, wanted some other input as to how often bedding should be changed!

I normally do every two weeks but now I'm paranoid it should be being done weekly

Weekly. Always on firiday like my mum did

Clean sheets Friday night and lie in Saturday - we'll linger in bed but still have mini blondes

BatFaceOwl · 26/04/2023 10:48

Every 5-7 days here. I just like a fresh bed without going totally overboard.

A previous poster not changing it for 8 months is just disgusting 🤢

PieMashLiquor · 26/04/2023 10:49

🥱

CovetedAsFuck · 26/04/2023 10:50

Weekly. If I'm really overwhelmed with work, maybe a bit longer, but I'd change the pillowcases in that case.

The feel and smell of it being reasonably fresh helps me stay calm when I'm lying awake (insomnia)

coffeecupsandwaxmelts · 26/04/2023 10:52

Weekly on a Friday.

hattie43 · 26/04/2023 10:52

I take you are referring to me, tell me how you would change a bed with one hand then? I developed CRPS following surgery, could not physically do it.

Delatron · 26/04/2023 11:05

I aim for weekly, sometimes it goes to 10
days ish. I remember being a student and it was once a term!

Aria20 · 26/04/2023 11:08

Fresh bed Fridays here!! Nice to know you can have a slight lay in Saturday morning in a nice fresh bed!

Nottamug · 26/04/2023 11:08

When I can be arsed .

LumpySpaceGoddess · 26/04/2023 11:25

When I can be bothered! 😂 I most probably get them changed once a month roughly.

ScarletWitchM · 26/04/2023 11:29

Monthly

Lcb123 · 26/04/2023 11:37

It's your bed, as long as you are comfortable. I do every 1-2 weeks depending on the temperature, i.e. more frequent summer. DH works away sometimes so less often when it's just me.

Mrsherdwick · 26/04/2023 11:41

Weekly full bed change but I change the bottom sheet midway.

DiscoBeat · 26/04/2023 11:45

Weekly. Although if I miss the regular day it might be 10 days . Aren't there a million other threads like this?

DiscoBeat · 26/04/2023 11:45

Every 4/5 weeks ..... I get into it with a clean body/clean nightwear. It doesn't get filthy.
Don't you sweat??

Surpriseparty · 26/04/2023 11:48

Every 2 weeks for the bedding and every 6 months for the duvet, which goes to the laundry.

FrogsWormsandButterflies · 26/04/2023 11:52

Generally once a week on my day off.
However this week I did them on Sunday and am in the process of doing them again as DD vomited in her bed and my bed overnight 🤮

Stillwearingskinnys · 26/04/2023 11:55

Weekly here for all beds. Hate doing it!!

We all always bathe on an evening and clean pjs every other night.

Chickpea17 · 26/04/2023 11:55

Weekly usually on a Friday

Ismybeddinggross · 26/04/2023 12:04

Sorry I'm quite new here, didn't realise this had been asked much already

We do ours monthly unless it needs done sooner like in summer I might do it 2/3 weekly. We don't have a tumble dryer and limited room for drying so if I do it more often than that it starts to cause laundry build up while I wait for it to dry and I hate the laundry basket being full. In summer I'll wash much more often as it can go out on the line and dries faster and doubles my drying space!

StylishM · 26/04/2023 12:10

Every Sunday for our bed & cot - older DC beds are changed every 2 weeks as children sweat far less than adults. We'll increase this to weekly when they start signs of puberty

TheLostNights · 26/04/2023 12:11

Every 2 weeks
