How often do you change your bedding?

Just as the title says really, wanted some other input as to how often bedding should be changed!

I normally do every two weeks but now I'm paranoid it should be being done weekly

Two weeks is fine.

Twospaniels · 26/04/2023 09:20

Weekly

I clean the bedroom and ensuite fully once a week.

Lampzade · 26/04/2023 09:21

Every ten days during the winter
Every seven days Spring/ Summer
I have three sets of bedding for all beds to facilitate this

Hadjab · 26/04/2023 09:21

Change it everyday, every week or once a month? It’s your bed, you need to be comfortable in it.

ModerationInEverything · 26/04/2023 09:26

Every Friday, it's a start of weekend treat.

BMW6 · 26/04/2023 09:30

Twice a year, whether it needs it or not.

TimeToBreakFree · 26/04/2023 09:31

Weekly

50percentNamaste50percentGoFuckYourself · 26/04/2023 09:32

When I remember.

Prettybutdumb · 26/04/2023 09:32

Every week, following what happened in my childhood home.

Putyourdamnshoeson · 26/04/2023 09:35

Two weeks, unless DH has been especially sweaty

IAmMeThisIsI · 26/04/2023 09:37

As soon as it starts to feel scruffy or look scruffy. This happens about once every two weeks or so.

Crazykatie · 26/04/2023 09:37

Usually every week, depends what else is happening if I’m busy it doesn’t get done, when I had 4 kids it often got left, there are only so many hours. When I was working full time, it only got done weekly when I had a cleaner a day a week.

FrenchandSaunders · 26/04/2023 09:40

Every 4/5 weeks ..... I get into it with a clean body/clean nightwear. It doesn't get filthy.

Kyse · 26/04/2023 09:42

Depends how I feel
Somewhere between every 7-14 days
I don't always change it all at once, sometimes just the pillowcase and bottom sheet

Daffodil92 · 26/04/2023 09:43

Weekly at least. Sometimes more often in summer. I love the feeling of crisp fresh sheets, I couldn’t go longer than a week I wouldn’t sleep well!

Ragwort · 26/04/2023 09:43

Every two - three weeks, I sleep alone. When DH and I shared a bed I would change it more frequently Grin.

Popetthetreehugger · 26/04/2023 09:44

Weekly here . I shower before bed , pjs only do two nights and I sleep like Iv died in the night ! DH on the other hand , if the sheets were left any longer would look like the Turin shroud!

IAmLaughing · 26/04/2023 09:47

I only do mine about every 3 months. Its fine, we shower before getting into bed. I have health problems and its really hard for me to change it and do all the extra washing and trying to get bedding dry is difficult. I had an operation on my hand to remove a bone and did not change it for 8 months as I couldn't. It was ok, no-one ever died from a dirty bed.

Aquamarine1029 · 26/04/2023 09:50

Every week.

Haus1234 · 26/04/2023 09:50

Every week but I really like the feeling of clean sheets and I sleep extra well the day they’re changed!

igor · 26/04/2023 09:50

Weekly, more often if it needs it.

LunaTheCat · 26/04/2023 09:51

Every week. I have heaps lovely sheets and linen… cotton 350 thread count in summer and fluffy flannel cotton in winter.
it is a huge pleasure… as a child we had not enough sheets and blankets. That and lovely towels to make up for the horrid childhood.

Cluelessat33 · 26/04/2023 09:51

Every week or 2 weeks depending on time of year, other stuff in the wash, whether I can get it dry outside etc. People get weirdly upset about how often other people wash their stuff. My Mum was a nurse and we grew up changing sheets every other week. I've not died yet and I don't consider myself smelly or dirty, but I've read threads where people change them every day and are disgusted by people who don't. What they do with their sheets to merit changing that often, I have no idea.

Topbird29 · 26/04/2023 09:53

Aim for every 2 weeks in winter - slightly more frequently in summer. Maybe more often if anyone is overly sweaty.

mamnotmum · 26/04/2023 09:53

I'm guessing about every 3-4 weeks. But I'm not strict in that.
