I attended a transgender panel 101 session at work and "met" a person who dresses / identifies as a woman but born and still is a male - (nonidea on all the nuances in language ... there was a huge grid)

Anyway they then spoke about their wife and how supportive she was when he 'came out' and how they are still together

Eddie Izard is an interesting case. I would certainly have dated him in his "These aren't women's clothes, they are my clothes" days.

I was asked out by Eddie Izzard back in the day and stayed with him when we were both performing at the Edinburgh Fringe when he was a street escapologist and I was doing stand up. I didn't fancy him in his tweedy trousers and chunky sweaters and I didn't fancy him when he told he cross dressed. I though errr yuck.

In my teens a guy I was having a thing with turned up at a fancy dress party dressed as his sister (she came as him) - I found it a right turn off. Can't for the life of me remember what my outfit was.

The one I find weirdest is when a man and women date but the man identifies as a lesbian and the woman as a gay bloke. It's just a heterosexual relationship for all intents and purposes.
