Thomas Cashman's Family

Godzillaisjusthangry · 01/04/2023 08:32

The daily fail have really gone after Thomas Cashman's partner in the paper today, painting her as a gangsters moll.

Do you think she really knew what he was up to? What's the feeling in Liverpool towards her?

AIBU to feel sorry for his kids and wonder what kind of life they will have now? his son and daughter are also victims in this horrible tragedy now. It's so sad.

Crabwoman. what does a grafter mean?

Here is means someone who works really hard and puts there all into it

Beantag · 01/04/2023 12:11

Of course she knew. To be honest though drugs cause a tonne of needless, violent and devastating deaths- anyone who buys them is partly responsible for all of this too. People snorting lines in their middle class homes are removed from much of the pain it causes, doesn't make them any less complicit though.

pleasehelpwi3 · 01/04/2023 12:13

The landlord will know as well, as presumably they paid the rent in used twenties. Also any sensible landlord will ask for proof of employment from a prospective tenant.

ginislife · 01/04/2023 12:14

All the dodgy money in the world didn't buy her a decent aesthetician. Those lips were shocking !! Scum the lot of them.

Chowtime · 01/04/2023 12:15

Galliano · 01/04/2023 09:05

It was a rented property

Of course it was rented. They were hardly likely to pass the money laundering checks required for a mortgage! 😂

thegrain · 01/04/2023 09:29

That might be the only coat she has ffs.

I'll wager she's got more than one coat.

Typo for grifter, maybe?

girlfriend44 · 01/04/2023 12:19

What a bloody idiot he was too, he twice tried to take the intended targets life. He tried previously.
He's still alive, but a little girl is dead. Bodger.

Not even Good at what he tried to do.
A total idiot as well. Also dosent he have a daughter wonder how he'd like it if someone shot her?
Glad he got his come uppance.

QuintanaRoo · 01/04/2023 12:22

His girlfriend/bit in the side (not his partner) sounds very brave. She reported him as soon as she realised. She testified in court and is now in witness protection for life apparently.

they refer to their illegal activity as ' their graft'.
Burglars will say " I,m going out on the graft tonight" when they plan to go robbing. Their dealing patch is referred to as their graft. hence the comment " I will take your graft off you"

No grafters and grifters are totally different round here. A grafter is a hard, honest worker. A grifter is a wheeling, dealing, dodgy deals type, ripping people off.

Whenever a man does something shit they always go after a woman too. It implies it was her job to keep him in check and I've got not time for it.

Yy.
Posters are saying they knew about other violent crimes he'd been linked to ... yet don't seem to consider that violence wouldn't have been limited to outsiders. Violent men are violent men at home too.

But, they'll ignore that to argue it falls to the partners - not the posters on here who seem to know all about him ; not the other men in the gang ; not the police (who should know as much as MN posters fgs).
Here's a man being arrested for murder - let's look for the woman to blame. Hmm

bellac11 · 01/04/2023 09:06

She'll be supported, she'll be supported by the network firstly

Then she'll be supported by posters like above who see her as a victim that everyone needs to feel sorry for and not blame.

I would like to see the children taken away from the poisonous atmosphere in which they are being raised to allow them to lead decent lives rather than being subsumed into a life of crime. No sympathy whatsoever for the woman, she was either aware of his actions or she is remarkably thick not to question where their lifestyle was coming from.

MelsMoneyTree · 01/04/2023 12:27

Being 'remarkably thick' isn't a good reason to lose your DCs.

@Godzillaisjusthangry I think they'll have a better life than having a dad who's a hardcore criminal around. It might've led to them being more likely to end up in a life of crime themselves, and eventual prison.

I hope they never have to see him again.

Whichnumbers · 01/04/2023 12:28

reesewithoutaspoon thanks for the explanation. I realised it wasn't the same but wasn't quite their with the context

JudgeJ · 01/04/2023 12:31

OhhhhhhhhBiscuits · 01/04/2023 10:08

She has moved back to her old family council house according to some reports. Personally I would flee and try and live incognito somewhere miles away as there will be people after her. The kids I feel very sorry for, no one asks to be born and to be born into a family like this with no choice of the violence, drugs and crimes going on around you is heartbreaking.

Which is why they should be taken away from her if she is not willing to genuinely forego this crooked lifestyle.

Whichnumbers · 01/04/2023 12:31

Going into prison as a child killer will be totally different from going to prison as a drug dealer

blueshoes · 01/04/2023 12:33

Whichnumbers · 01/04/2023 12:07

Full respect to the woman who testified against him. She really stood up to his QC

she was requested to calm down and her corker was he had a small willy....

The QC said it was revenge and she said Ive ruined my life for this (in protected custody I guess)

It shouldn't be but this is funny. Hats off to her spirit and courage.

JudgeJ · 01/04/2023 12:34

Wouldyouever · 01/04/2023 10:34

He is accountable. He was the criminal. He killed an innocent little girl. Not his wife or his family.

Given half the posts on here are about people, predominantly women, who were blindsided by the actions of their partner, it’s interesting that most posters are claiming of course she knew!

If my late husband didn't have a regular job but was bringing home thousands a week in cash then I would be asking questions.

blueshoes · 01/04/2023 12:35

@crabwoman, why Alcatel mobile? Just curious. Is it the drug dealer choice of mobile and why?

She has a salon so they could well have used that for their proof of income.

chevvyroo · 01/04/2023 12:39

If course she knew. I hope the cop come after all their assets as PoC. Who wears a pink coat to a trail like that as well?

SpreadableCheeseOnEverything · 01/04/2023 12:40

She will be well looked after financially by her partner's 'associates'.

Someone from my local town is in prison for drug dealing. His wife is still living a life as luxurious as she did before. Funnily enough she has a beauty salon too that was used for money laundering
