It’s just quite odd…all this with Philip Schofield, then Alison Hammond was brought in, talk of blackmail in the news and she’s not on this week anymore…what on earth goes on over there 🤷🏻♀️

There’s a reel up on TikTok at the moment, of an interview Holly and Phil did in 2016 with a woman who was claiming benefits for her 12 children while wanting a 13th.

Basically the pair of them judging and bullying her when it was clear there was a deeper issue. The most disturbing thing about it was that they clearly knew what they were doing, and continued doing it for that portion of the viewers who would have asked her the same questions.

Fucking Holly sitting there in fake wide eyed disbelief and Phil making nasty, sexist remarks.

Despicable.

Twiggy presented for a while, I think it was the John Leslie days, and she was dreadful.

I loved when Sarah Greene filled in a few times.

They tried it with Twiggy and Colleen Nolan as the main presenters.

It was a car crash.

I'm amazed Holly ever made it. I saw her a few times in the early days- possibly dancing on ice?- and she was so bad you could see the strings and cogs moving.
I couldn't watch. In comparison Tess Daly (?) was slick and professional.

I thought Fern was good. And imo stitched up. Yes she had a gastric band, but you still have to radically change your life and work really hard for it to work. She didn't owe that medical information to anyone. Never understood why her husband continued to do the cooking slots after she was ousted - smacks of having no loyalty!

I like Ruth - she seems genuine.

The thing with John Leslie that struck me, is that I don't remember hearing women who'd dated him, such a CZJ coming out to defend him. I don't remember her saying anything negative either, but lack of public defence does say something to people, rightly or wrongly.

No celebs, who you thought would come out, did come out in his support at the time.

Like I said my ex colleague heard all the gossip as she knew people who worked with him or socialised with him, PR/media world in London.

A few women crawled out of the woodwork to defend him but you’d think more celebrity women would support him. Anyone who’s who’s anyone knows Abi Titmuss thought he was her meal ticket at the time, so therefore she would lie and stick by him, and she’s since gone on to become a US actress so his support has helped her.

Omg, just googling and a sex tape of John, Abi and another woman is what ruined both their careers, why do that if you know it can be leaked (the tape)?

I remember Gino being on Jonathan Ross’s chatshow years ago and saying that at home no-one including his wife is allowed to stand up or leave the table before he does. Because he is the man of the house or some such crap.

I would have left if I was Holly, surely she can get other jobs and has plenty of money. All the association with P.S isn’t good, unless he has something over her too 🙈
Ruth comes across as v genuine and lovely, I like Eamon too, I think they’re likely the good, decent ones.

Personally I preferred that pairing (HW and JD) to HW and AH. I honestly don't think AH can present. I don't want to be horrible, I just don't think she can. Again, it really does make me wonder why they're not trying different presenters. They can't be that hard up.

Oh ok. I only really watched the bit with the doctor and about easter eggs and him and Holly just seemed to be giggling about erectile disfunction and a phallic shaped easter egg.

I think he was quite nervous.

I was surprised how good Holly and AH were on Mon and Tues. They brought out the best in each other.

Having met his wife I very much doubt that is true. She's quite a formidable woman and I don't think she'd put up with that kind of crap. It's all an act.

I thought HW and AH were really good together actually. They seemed to bring out the best in each other. I thought HW would be snobby towards her, but she wasn't at all.
