It’s just quite odd…all this with Philip Schofield, then Alison Hammond was brought in, talk of blackmail in the news and she’s not on this week anymore…what on earth goes on over there 🤷🏻‍♀️

Just read his Instagram statement.. it is very confusing 🤔 Did he not state that he had been informed and said this must never happen again? That bit was literally on itv news a few days ago but his statement is claiming he only just found out about it all this week. I feel bad for his elderly mum in all this 🤦🏼‍♀️

Sounds awful of me but IDGAF about his elderly Mum. She spawned a pair of groomers.
why should she be spared the shame? PS is a vile individual who’s spending about £30k a month on a super injunction to silence someone who he’s groomed and abused.

PS is now claiming homosexuality (which I have no problem with) so that he can attach himself to a protected group to avoid culpability for his actions.

It’s truly sickening, Especially since gay men have had to fight the narrative that they are degenerates and perverts for so long.

Phillip said: "My overwhelming concern is and has always been for the wellbeing of the victim and his family. I hope that their privacy will now be respected.
“If any crime had ever been confessed to me by my brother, I would have acted immediately to protect the victim and their family.
“These are despicable crimes, and I welcome the guilty verdicts.
As far as I am concerned, I no longer have a brother.”
^^post trial media statement

In his statement to Exeter Crown Court, Phillip Schofield said he was washing up when his brother stood behind him and said, "you are going to hate me for what I am about to say".
"I said there was nothing he could say that would make me hate him. Then he said that he and [the boy] had time together and that last year they had watched porn... and [masturbated]".
"I turned and said, 'What did you just say?' He said it was last year and we were alone together.
"Tim said it was just this once. I told him it should never happen again.

"He then started to tell me about [the boy's] body.
"I said, 'F*, stop'. I shouted at Tim that he had to stop. I didn't want to know any of the details but he made it sound like a one-off.
"I said, 'I don't want you to tell me anymore'. I said, 'You've got to stop, just never do it again. Regardless how that happened it must never happen again'.
"Tim would say it was just '[boy] time'.
"I said, 'What the hell is [boy] time?'"
'Timothy Schofield's head was in a mess'
In the statement, the TV host said that prior to his sibling driving over to his home, the defendant had called the star in an agitated state.
Mr Schofield said: "Tim was in an extreme state of agitation, and he said that he was on the verge of killing himself. He said his head was in a mess."
When he arrived at Mr Schofield's house a couple of hours later, the defendant was "as angry as I have ever seen him", the court heard.
During the face-to-face conversation, Mr Schofield said he urged his brother to see his GP and get counselling.

His brother was talking about someone who was above the age of consent. It then came out that it had started when he was younger but if PS knew the boy was of age there wasn't a crime to report. 16 year olds can have sexual relationships.

OneFrenchEgg · 24/04/2023 20:38

Weird response then. Brother extremely agitated, in a sexual relationship with a barely legal young man and PS refuses to hear anymore. If it was all so innocent why the reluctance to hear any more detail?

OneFrenchEgg · 24/04/2023 20:41

To clarify, i said barely legal as I understand the man is 19 now and would have therefore been 17 at the time. I'll ask to have it amended if that isn't the case.

Butidontwanttogotoarobbieconcert · 24/04/2023 20:44

So the boy was 17 when it happened?? I thought he was much younger?

OneFrenchEgg · 24/04/2023 20:56

No I'm referring to PS being told. If he was told 18m ago and the boy is 19 I'm assuming 17. I don't really want to speculate much but I also wanted to justify using 'barely legal'.

Tinysoxx · 28/05/2023 12:06

PS and his brother must have discussed this more than once as otherwise I would have thought it should be ‘Tim said it was just…’
But PS said ‘ “Tim would say it was just '[boy] time”.’ Which implies they spoke about it more than that.

Because he knew the boy? The whole Schofield story started to unravel after Timothy was sentenced. I think there's a lot been kept quiet, rightly, to protect the boy's identity.

Hellenabe · 03/06/2023 22:27

*This. No mention in the media about Timothy Schofields background/family/wife etc.

There's something strange about this whole Schofield family
