It’s just quite odd…all this with Philip Schofield, then Alison Hammond was brought in, talk of blackmail in the news and she’s not on this week anymore…what on earth goes on over there 🤷🏻‍♀️

But what could he do? If denouncing it that’s trial before conviction? Has bro been convicted? Really not good as a well known media figure to even comment if bro not convicted. This becomes vigilante behaviour.

Yes he can't prejudice a trial by commenting, we know this
But if the therapist in November reported it, there must have been enough information to suspect a crime. Rather than saying it was just the once and refusing to hear more information, PS could have listened and raised a concern with the appropriate authorities (police or social services).

Surely he has to address all of the rumours about him and the runner properly or just not come back?!

To come on tomorrow as if nothing has happened is unlikely, and would take some brass neck.

The rumours about the runner have been circulating for years - since he “came out” and there was a v obviously frosty relationship with Ruth, Eamonn and Rylan presumably because they all knew the boy allegedly involved.

The thing is the sobbing / bravery card has already been played, he can't do that again. No one will buy it.

I know there is a bit of a delay with how "live" it is but surely it's a matter of time before someone uses one of the phone in features to call him out.

Her having ‘shingles’ is the absolute worst cover story ever 🙈 I thought that would be a story and neither of them would be there so they’d just keep going with the other combinations of presenters. Does it say he’ll be back with Rochelle? Kind of surprised Rochelle would want to fill in if holly is distancing herself. The situation just gets more strange

One day the truth will come out.

It’s a genius PR move. Rochelle doesn’t have the gravitas to ask Phil how he’s doing, plus, she’ll be told to Not Ask. I get it - Not Asking is worth a vast amount of money to her as, ultimately, the Big Job is up for grabs.

So, the chat will be all about ‘get well Holly… up next!….’ And next week will be all about ‘are you better Holly?’ and the news cycle moved on.

The timing is unbelievable. I totally agree that’s how the narrative will go.. completely by-pass over the fact there has ever been any holiday and not ask how the holiday was then just move on to Holly being ill. People like Rylan, Ruth etc must be in disbelief at how this is unfolding

If Holly is distancing herself and there is yet more bad stuff written about Phil this week, what is Holly going to do? Just say I’m feeling better now but I’m not coming back? Surely that will make it extremely obvious she wasn’t really unwell or she does come back but it does seem suspicious that she hasn’t publicly shown any support for PS, not even a happy birthday

Someone on Tattle said that Holly has wanted out of This Morning for ages and was really annoyed with how they handled queuegate.

Well…Rochelle is managed by PS’s daughter, isn’t she? Either big money/opportunity to do it or doesn’t feel she has much choice…🤷🏻‍♀️

So, Holly likely doesn’t have shingles and probably isn’t distancing herself, it’s just a useful distraction to say she’s ill and then she’ll be back as normal next week?
