It’s just quite odd…all this with Philip Schofield, then Alison Hammond was brought in, talk of blackmail in the news and she’s not on this week anymore…what on earth goes on over there 🤷🏻‍♀️

April 17 according to the tabloids. Let’s hope we don’t see him blubbing on the sofa and being stunningly brave with Holly stroking his hair.

@Picoloangel How on earth can he come back 🤷🏻‍♀️There is literally not one good comment in the comments, can’t itv see that, how can he want to knowing that people aren’t keen…it’s bizarre. Shouldn’t he have some dignity now

@Butidontwanttogotoarobbieconcert I completely agree. It was the same with queue gate - I just thought there was no way back at all given the comments about him but there he was again! The allegations about him are so serious and in the wake of the convictions of other TV personalities it’s baffling. I know he hasn’t been questioned, arrested etc but when you look at others who have had those sort of whispered allegations made about them they’ve swiftly disappeared from our screens.

PS has not a shred of dignity or decency. His smug entitlement is nauseating. I remain of the view that he has some serious dirt on those higher up. It’s the only explanation. I also recall in queue gate I read that he and Holly share representation with other high profile ITV acts (possibly Ant and Dec) and that if H and P are forced out others will leave.

I think maybe the status, the
money etc. Being the most unpopular man on TV doesn’t seem to phase him at all. I literally can’t watch him on anything.

I cannot imagine that he’ll just waltz back on to this morning. Surely not! The weirdest thing about all of this is the fact everything we know now is stuff everyone’s known all along. The only new information that has come out during his break is regarding his brother but it’s as if that’s just stirred up this realisation in people. For example, if Ant’s brother or Holly’s brother was convicted of the same, no one would be pointing the finger at them.. the reason people have gone off him so much is the fact I think we’ve known for quite a while that something has been going on in the background. Obviously the bit about him knowing about his brother, does make it worse although he denies that bit entirely. It is just weird how an event not even relating directly to him, has caused this much of an uproar (rightly so)!

If you watch a clip (can’t be bothered to link to it here) but it’s basically a series of clips of Phil firstly commenting on the Gemma Collins Dancing On Ice “fall” - obviously staged to get her sympathy votes/more PR, him mouthing off, interrupting Holly and speaking over her on countless interviews, the vile “Spin the Wheel” where they pay someone who wins energy/utility bills, avoiding questions from a reporter about queuegate etc.

Phil thinks he’s Teflon and seems to have this overinflated sense of ego about him and a nasty arrogant, condescending vibe about him. I don’t know if there’s a darker side to it as in loads of grooming going on, it wouldn’t surprise me, I’d ask my brother (works on TV shows and has done ITV but not daytime, but he doesn’t gossip anyway).

In fact, and I wouldn’t say this lightly, only have second hand info on them, again from a journalist friend of mine (whom I’m not in touch with now), I think both Holly and Phil maybe make themselves into the worst versions of themselves. Egged on by each other. Holly I think will definitely want to extricate herself from Phil, too much has happened now.

@GonnaGetGoingReturns Yes, it seems like they’re maybe a bitchy influence on each other and think it’s funny. It’s like they’re in their own little club as if they think they’re the cool kids at school..really odd and not very welcoming for viewers. Surely far far too much has happened now, it’s been there in the background for ages..

What an odd comment. Not sure what Alison's skin colour has got to do with anything. Confused If it a white woman had said what Alison said, would it have been OK for HER to apologise? Hmm

But I do agree Alison did not need to say sorry.

And now on This Morning, we have a 'performing duck.' All the woman is doing is putting bits of food on the floor, and the duck is walking through a kind of plastic tunnel, purely because the food is there. Not because the woman told the duck to go through. What a load of shit. Switched off after 3 minutes. This Morning needs pensioning off. It's atrocious.

@PrettyMaybug it isn’t an “odd” comment it’s perfectly reasonable to point out that a white privileged man can get away with so much more than any women, and even more so a black man or woman.
