This is abuse. What kind of parent takes their baby to a show like this?

You should read the economist Journalist Helen Joyce's book 'Trans' and check out what the IT chap with a woman name, funding this ideology has planned.

I shudder to think.

It can only be the acceptance of sex with children in the name of inclusiveness, right? I mean, that has to be where this is leading.

I think it’s fantastic. It’s more entertainment for the parents with plenty of sensory stimulation from the colours, dancing and singing for the kids

The parents needs to wise up and remember it’s not meant to be about them. The country is coming down with dopey sensory activities for babies (and they are dopey, child would get more out of sitting in the house with an adult paying attention to them or I don’t know doing the unfashionable thing and tottering about the place w the baby in a pram) there is absolutely no need to involve drag queens. I am also sick to the back teeth of people saying ohhh but what about pantomime Dames as if it’s the ultimate gotcha. The only gotcha it is refers to the speakers deep misogyny. I’m not anti pantomime dames, I can take a joke, but they are literally a walking mother in law joke. Yes there are usually innuendos in pantomimes but they are so quick and out of children’s understanding it is ABSURD to compare them to men in thongs and thigh high boots doing the splits and twerking. Honestly have a word with yourself, would your parents have thought this was acceptable for you to go to a drag queen story hour as a young child? If not why not? Do not say homophobia because this sh*t has nothing to do with 99% of gay people. It’s only to do with bored mummies wanting to seem cool.

SunShineAllMine · 04/03/2023 01:00

Semi conductors in humans apparently.

They are talking in health about placing them in the disabled as experiments.

Then, quite frankly, you are deluded.

I can’t believe the 14% of voters are ok with this kind of shit. Sometimes, it seems as though the more technology advances, the less intelligent humans seem to be. At this rate, in another 20 years, humanity will be incapable of independent and intelligent thought.

I am not a fan of drag. But I understand that some people are. And, imo, that’s ok. Go for a night out, you’re adults. But this is just fucked up. It’s not even drag for the most part. Their costume budget is obviously non-existent given the lack of material on show.

As a couple of people have said - what would the reaction be to organised groups of dads taking their kids to a strip-club? Albeit one hosted in the middle of the afternoon in a community hall with shit lighting.

As an aside, if I was charged £25 on an adult night out, I’d want a refund. Every video clip I’ve seen has been crap. They are not talented at what they do.

B-but the female strippers wear pretty, sparkly sensory thongs, pasties and tassels honey! The baby loves it! - Dad

These look photoshopped/fake. I highly doubt anyone would take their child to a show like this, or that drag queens would do it? Seems unlikely

It’s not photoshopped .

You can not possibly be serious.

have you seen the other photos from the event ?

it’s totally disgusting to have children at an event like this.

Furries · 04/03/2023 01:24

@BirdsAndBoats 🤣🤣

At the moment, I’m kind of thankful that I live in a rural area that isn’t “insta-worthy”. I’m dreading the point where this shit starts to creep in.

A friends kid does have a birthday coming up. Am tempted to show dad what kind of outfit is popular with the “cool” set re entertainment. His reaction would almost be worth it!

Eyerollcentral · 04/03/2023 01:27

I have to agree @furries that philosophically I too have a problem with the idea of drag, I do think womanface is an accurate description. People have tried to promote the idea of drag kings but let’s face it, no one is interested and the clothes are crap. I do have to admit to watching drag race though (happy to admit my apparent hypocrisy on this piffle) abut genuinely that’s because I think the creativity on it is amazing. If there was a show where female entertainers got to do challenges, be hilarious and come up with amazing outfits every week I’d be glued to it but that will never be allowed to be because misogyny. However I think it’s pertinent to note how uncomfortable even Ru Paul appears to have become with the encroachment of trans ideology to the show (which to be fair is just meant to be camp fun, albeit as always at the expense of women) given that even the theme tune and all the little sayings throughout the show had to changed to be ‘gender inclusive’. Don’t get me stated on the trans competitors including an actual woman who had already had a double mastectomy. Gottmilk is incredibly talented but I found her an incredibly sad figure, she was immediately identifiable as a woman throughout. Still, there’s never been a babies hour on drag race and I know there wouldn’t be. Ru Paul is like a spinster aunt of old compared to the sh*t coming out now. At the end of the day though we really have to ask why women are taking their children to these shows - and it is overwhelmingly women. Not one of my friends with young children would consider it (and tbh most aren’t as gender critical as me, they just wouldn’t take a baby somewhere they would be exposed to this stuff, most people wouldn’t) so I do wonder about the cohort attending.

Goodread1 · 04/03/2023 01:44

I don't see the relevance of Drag Artists doing their thing and doing story times,

I mean if they were just men doing this , looking and dressed up like men usaully are,

There would be quite rightly uproar if they performed in a touch in cheek risqué way etc ..

Cause they are Drag Artists the ideology of Woke Society now is its OK cause of Pantomime Christmas 🎄 time Drag Queens dressed up as the ugly sisters ect,
Pantomime tradition Christmas

I

Goodread1 · 04/03/2023 01:47

I don't see Drag Artists doing their thing and doing stories times their relevance being with primary school children at all

Of course it's inappropriate and Oddly out of place

It's ridiculous

Furries · 04/03/2023 01:48

Drag, in and of itself, isn’t a problem. I don’t like it, but I can also appreciate that some drag artists look great and their acts appeal to adults. That’s absolutely fine.

Would I rather it become phased out as time goes on? Yes. I’d hope that people look back and think the same way we do at some of the “humour” of past decades.

But this is all with the mindset of entertainment for adults. This crap with kids is not right.

Its worrying how easy it is to forget stuff though. I’ve just thought of the group responsible for rainbow-dildo-butt-monkey. I know they took their site down for a bit, but are they now up and running with their “encourage petting” type costumes? Need to go off and google, I can’t remember what they’re called (see what I mean re east to forget things).

Stressedafff · 04/03/2023 01:52

Their reasoning is batshit. “For mums sick of wheels on the bus”

We’re all sick of wheels on the bus, does that mean I can take my 3 year old to creamfields this year and be called inclusive and woke?

Only if your baby’s face has a hairy male arse and legs within a few feet. Otherwise, you aren’t trying hard enough!

MoirasSaggyBundles · 04/03/2023 02:02

The same people probably would be aghast at their child (and themselves) looking up the crack of a man writhing about on the floor dressed in male attire, or indeed a woman writhing about the floor dressed in feminine attire. It's the unquestioning label of specialness/bravery, boundary trampling acceptability, and immunity to all rational and morally normal criticism, that a man takes on when he dons a frock and makeup, that is absolutely baffling.

Boiledbeetle · 04/03/2023 02:18

SouperNoodle · 04/03/2023 00:02

@Clymene Jfc I didn't know any of that 😳

Well if that shocks you how about this fella reading story to you little ones?

Furries · 04/03/2023 02:19

@MoirasSaggyBundles yup, a whole new category of SOME people who are beyond reproach. Seems like we never bloody learn re those that will put every effort into hiding in plain site.

Unicornsandgriffins · 04/03/2023 02:23

YADNBU. It's vile, disgusting and worrying. They are not dragqueens, they are groomers. They are grooming the next generation. The photos are not photoshopped, filmed footage is on YouTube. Those parents hardrives need checking, and they should be monitored by social services.

Boiledbeetle · 04/03/2023 02:25

And to the 15% who think taking babies and young children to these sexually inappropriate shows is OK

"child sex abuse:

A child is defined as any person under the age of 18. Child sexual abuse involves forcing or inciting a child to take part in sexual activity, whether or not the child is aware of what is happening and not necessarily involving a high level of violence.

This may involve physical contact including rape or oral sex, or non-penetrative acts such as masturbation, kissing, rubbing and touching outside of clothing. They may also include non-contact activities, such as involving children in looking at, or in the production of, sexual images, watching sexual activities, encouraging children to behave in sexually inappropriate ways, or exploiting or grooming a child in preparation for abuse (including via the internet) or prostitution. Child sexual abuse can be committed by both men and women, or other children."

People who take their children to this are doing their children a disservice. And if anybody thinks that the show we are talking about doesn't involve sexual activity, doesn't encourage children to behave in a sexually inappropriate way and doesn't start to prepare a child for abuse are living in Cloud Fucking cuckoo land.

Furries · 04/03/2023 02:28

@Boiledbeetle - I can’t believe it’s coming up to two years since that. I still have the phrase “Rainbow Dildo Butt Monkey” in my head. WTF, almost two years later, are people thinking that CBR events are a good thing for babies?

My mind boggles. And that’s without the “grown-up” stuff - prisons, sport, refuges etc.

It’s baffling how a specific group of people who seem to want gender norms and criticism abolishing have absolutely no issue forcing their utterly bizarre and perverse behaviour on those who literally cannot consent. A baby can’t tell it’s mum it feels uncomfortable with the hairy arse man in heels or the fuzzy monkey with a large obvious penis. They’re sick in the head these people that’s the only way I could describe them
