To ask you if you wash your feet?

Intrigued by the amount of people on another thread who seemingly don’t wash their feet (this includes my DH🤢)

Just wanted to do a kind poll to see how many people exactly don’t wash their feet in the shower (by washing you feet I mean actively rubbing or scrubbing them with soap and rinsing them off not just getting them wet in the shower)

Not every day. I shower every morning and sometimes again at night if I feel I need to. But I only wash my feet properly when I shave my legs. So once a week, sometimes a bit longer between.

Only in the summer when I'm wearing crocs all day and my feet are covered in dust and dried horse shit. Otherwise they're protected by socks/wellies so sluicing is quite sufficient.

Yes, feet get a good scrub. It would seem odd to just stop using the shower puff/flannel before getting to the legs and feet. Letting the soapy water run down them doesn't seem enough and it only takes a few seconds to clean them properly

Yes but I improve many don't. Often comes up on shoe threads that people are embarrassed about foot odour and refuse to remove shoes

But then in the shower I only use soap under my arms and wash my face and hair. Everything else I use water with.
I suppose if my feet looked dirty then I would.
I'm surprised by the answers so far.

My feet smell, I could get away without washing my calves sometimes but feet need a proper scrub every shower 🤢

And I'm not embarrassed about taking my shoes off. I wear clean socks and my shoes are breathable and so it's very rare they would be sweaty in shoes.

What's the 'other thread' about? It's not competitive showering again is it?

I wear clean clothes everyday and still use soap... it's not one or the other though

I do, if arthritis playing up I’ll sit on the bed with a wet flannel lol. Got to have clean feet. OH didn’t until he read a post about how white people don’t wash their legs/feet on twitter, then realised it never occurred to him! Can’t believe he went that long not thinking to wash his feet!

There's another thread EXACTLY the same as this one about who does and doesn't wash their feet in the shower, about three days ago for fucks sake. This is a TAAT so I hope it gets closed down. This sort of banal crap is ruining MN

Would you just rinse your clothes in water? Dishes? Or do you think they need a proper wash? What about the towel you dry yourself with? How often does tha5 go in the machine with soap?

Yes, always. And a good body scrub and moisturiser regularly as well

I wash my feet thoroughly. Loads of lathery soap all over and between the toes followed by a rinse.

My legs however, I trust them not to get dirty.

Does anyone fancy doing a third thread on this? I'm sure that it still has legs.
