DC have FINALLY decided they are done with their playmobil so of course we have to build it all to photograph & sell.

This hospital is better equipped than my own university hospital 😂 I am struggling to write the listing 😂 who is going to want this in their house?!

This is an absolute MASSIVE set which has been loved and played with and is still in beautiful condition. Are you jaded with life? Bring joy back into your life with this state of the art hospital. It has one bed unoccupied !!

Yeah the staff to patient ratio is 2:1 and they have one acute bed available tonight. Sadly majors is backed up and both ambulances have casualties waiting to be offloaded.

hopefully some patients will be part of a planned decant to the shopping mall tomorrow.

Guarded ours for six years got through four grandchildren unscathed. Then grandchild 5 trashed it. Waiting for son to come home for Xmas and rebuild it. I saw the instructions recently but can't find them now.

Playmobil is wonderful stuff

Yabu you cannot sell it you have to store it away in your loft !

Yes, my youngest is 25 and we still have his Playmobil stashed away, ready for any grandchildren that may come along in the future.

GonnaGetGoingReturns · 03/12/2022 22:46

Don’t get rid of it.

DNephew has play mobil and other Lego stuff including a pirate ship. I got him some bits last year (with a teeny crocodile 🐊) last week was over at their house and saw the crocodile on the floor - it’s the same length but smaller that my little finger nail! The bits get everywhere!

Woopzies · 03/12/2022 22:47

I must say, what a lovely thread!

ByTheGrace · 03/12/2022 22:50

We didn't have the hospital, but had so many of the other sets, the school was a big favourite. Ours is in the loft now, but I've kept the hotel downstairs for me to play with, it has everything right down to champagne in a ice bucket and door keys!

DeathWinsAGolfish · 03/12/2022 22:53

I have the operating theatre still from when I was young, I did end up as a nurse working in theatres and marrying a doctor, we have it set up as my FB profile picture, including DHs cup of coffee on top of the anaesthetic machine. 🥰

MadameMackenzie · 03/12/2022 22:54

I can’t find the listing for this anywhere :( I can only find the smaller ones

Escapedescalope · 03/12/2022 22:55

You could sell it, or you could remake every series of ER in playmobil form.

I would 100 percent watch that series.

HollaHolla · 03/12/2022 23:00

This is amazing!! My brother (in his 40s!) plays with his kids’ PlayMobil almost more than they do.
The pirate ship was indeed a particular favourite in our house too. I enjoyed running the field hospital for the knights and WW2 soldiers who fought together.
My brother - sorry, nephews - have the Back to the Future advent calendar this year.

OhChristmasTreeOhChristmasTreeFaLaLa · 03/12/2022 23:03

That's one very well looked after hospital, maybe send it to the health secretary, look all the patients are smiling and appear to have beds, look what it could be like 😆.

We (my children) had a play mobil Park it was great (i secretly loved it myself) but the pieces were lost in less than a week. I absolutely loved play mobile as a child, I'd have played with that for hours and hours. Hope it finds a new home and provides another child with hours of fun 😊.

saraclara · 03/12/2022 23:06

I remember getting DD the playmobil desert/treasure island in the early '90s. We were having a party for her at home (as we did back then!) and as her school friend guests arrived, they all sat playing with the island! No-one (including DD) was bothered about party games with that to play with!

stillvicarinatutu · 03/12/2022 23:09

I have carefully packed all dds play mobile sets into plastic containers and saved them in the attic ! Along with all the bratz dolls , barbies, I cannot wait to have an excuse to get them all out again !

This brings back such lovely memories. My eldest grandson loved Playmobil. Mostly knights and pirates for him but he would have loved that hospital too.

@Escapedescalope
Mark and Susan have just got new stethoscopes. They try them out before ordering a CBC & Chem 7, STAT!

Carter had no idea what he’s doing. His mentor, Dr Benson is busy in the shopping mall box (because there is a shocking lack of diversity at Mumsnet Infirmary) & Carter is a little unclear about this Whipple procedure he’s supposed to do. Luckily Carole Hathaway is here to save the day!

Gerry has HAD IT today. It’s been non stop and the waiting room is backing up. Doug Ross had better stop dicking about in storm drains and get to work.

Who is Doug kidding - he couldn’t even show up to his own wedding!

Ah… but do you have the one armed dude? Preferably just after he’s been helicoptered. I will allow the use of ketchup for effect.

Clarabe1 · 03/12/2022 23:31

My younger brother had the playmobil fort. I think the whole family was a bit obsessed with it. Every time you looked you saw another details you had missed. I would play with it now if I could!

cafenoirbiscuit · 03/12/2022 23:34

There has been an accident in the waiting area for the Falls Clinic at my local hospital

I came to say we need to Datix that fall! Especially with the potential for the box or covid ridden magazines to fall on top of the patient!
