DC have FINALLY decided they are done with their playmobil so of course we have to build it all to photograph & sell.

This hospital is better equipped than my own university hospital 😂 I am struggling to write the listing 😂 who is going to want this in their house?!

This is an absolute MASSIVE set which has been loved and played with and is still in beautiful condition. Are you jaded with life? Bring joy back into your life with this state of the art hospital. It has one bed unoccupied !!

Isn’t @somuchtobits a nurse? We should all club together and buy it for her so she can do us an ER or Casualty thread. Norman overdoses on Yorkshire Tea or Kylie gets a verruca.

AthenaPopodopolous · 03/12/2022 22:11

Would you consider donating it to the childrens ward or hospital?

Maybe she's selling the kids toys so they can have the money?

I work in a hospital - this is NOT a suitable toy for a hospital ward! It would last 7-10 mins and be wrecked, stolen, lost. Also it’s freaking HUGE. No space for it even in the play room at work.

👍🏻

caringcarer · 03/12/2022 22:19

My son had a huge castle plus loads of compatible sets. Last year I dragged them out of storage and gave to dgs. I checked with D's he did not want to keep it but he said no give it to his nephew.

Bagzzz · 03/12/2022 22:20

Love it - so much room for ambulances to drop off patients and actual staff - not in England I take it

ClownSchool · 03/12/2022 22:22

OMG I love this. My nephew spent six months in NICU when he was born and something like this would be amazing to help with teaching him about himself when he’s a bit older.

Off to browse ebay!

Bimblybomeyelash · 03/12/2022 22:22

Can we have a close up photo of the baby unit please?!

No it’s the same hospital 3 times - seriously!! It’s not even all of it, it’s just too big otherwise. We used to add on a canteen and a gift shop 😂

Brilliant set! I have quite a lot of this myself.

I do a lot of Playmo scenes. But did you say you have a shopping mall for sale?

Also, for anyone wanting to know if their sets are complete, may I recommend PlaymoDB playmodb.org/playmodb.shtml

It's a fab resource for finding out what is in your Playmo sets. I use it all the time! Xmas Smile

Bimblybomeyelash · 03/12/2022 22:26

The little potties 😆

meowzeer · 03/12/2022 22:27

Seems like the shift is well staffed too!

Me! I mean..my kids..

I feel like I’ve served my time with it in my house. One year we had it up instead of a Christmas tree.

Playmobil brings such joy doesn’t it? I have loved it since I clocked my friend Rebecca’s pirate ship in 1985. Rebecca if you are reading this, I’ve never forgiven you for not EVER wanting to play with it.

@AgathaMystery my eldest is just getting into it. Building the space station and popping all the little pieces in their proper places brings me such joy for the entire 0.2 seconds they remain there Grin

Holeymoleymacaroni · 03/12/2022 22:31

Ooooooh it'd absolutely amazing! I feel you may regret letting it go....😭

Ehrmagerd you are the queen of Playmobil! Can I please tell you I LOVE your work and you inspired me to do playmobil love island a couple of yrs ago. It cheered us up in lockdown!

I will check out that site. I was wondering whether just to build it as the 3 hospitals it really is instead of one huge tertiary care centre but thought fuck it.

There is a Mall… that’s tomorrow’s job. It’s very low key. Just 2 floors of bags and clothes and pets and sports and a food court and ice cream parlour. You know, the usual!

We used to buy the small playmobil hospital sets eg the crib and nurse, when a new baby arrived, for the older toddlers.. All lost now, but thank you for the memory jog.

SoMuchToBits · 03/12/2022 22:34

Thank you @AgathaMystery that looks fab! Xmas Smile

Toddlerteaplease · 03/12/2022 22:40

More staff then in a real hospital
. Especially mine!

Toddlerteaplease · 03/12/2022 22:43

@FirstnameSuesecondnamePerb I am a paediatric nurse. I'd love to say that it would be appreciated, but I suspect it would either get trashed or nicked on our play room. And that's before management come round and throw beautiful stuff we had out. For no good reason.
