What's the most wildly inappropriate thing to ever happen to you?

I'll start...
When I was 19 I was working as a waitress in a holiday hotel.
I was having a wild, incredibly exciting relationship with the hotel manager, who was a good 15 years older than me.
Guests would fill out feedback forms on the hotel.
One day my boss (Restaurant manager) called me into his office. He showed me a feedback form that stated the guests weren't able to get a proper nights sleep, due to incredibly load love making all night long from the room above them.
The restaurant manager then pointed out that the room in question was the hotel managers room (his boss)
I can't remember what I responded, but when I think about it now, what the hell was he thinking of?!? And why question me about it and not the hotel manager?
I had the arrogance of youth so of course carried on exactly as before 😂

Age 15 / 16 went away with rangers (older guides) we went out in groups walking doing D of E practice. We somehow met a group of boys (they weren't boys they were men in their 20's) in the local town who were at the local show ground for an agricultural show. That evening when we had free time we met up with them in their caravan. I stayed in the caravan with the group talking but one friend went outside with one of them and lost her virginity in a bush. We returned to where we were staying with the guides after midnight and the leader had locked all the doors so we had to ring the bell. When we returned home the leader never mentioned a word to our parents and we thought we had got away with it. 2 weeks later a long and vert detailed letter arrived home from the leader. My parents took me to her house to apologise. Years later I bumped into the leader and I apologised as now that I am an adult I realise what could have happened. She said it still gives her nightmares.

Early 20s with young DD (happily married at time) started a new job and another employee became infatuated with me (I was blissfully unaware). A few things happened but the worse was when I mentioned I was taking DD to see the latest Disney film. This man turned up at the cinema with his young DN and pretended it was a huge coincidence. Proceeded to sit with myself and DD who was talking to the DN. At the end of the film DD asked if the DN could come to ours to play? I wasn't keen but the employee manipulated it so I looked mean and I relented although not happy at all.

Girls were playing upstairs and I allowed that for half an hour while making polite small talk but feeling really uncomfortable as there was this weird vibe where the guy seemed almost excited to be in my home.

I decided time was up and I went to fetch my DD and tell them the play date was over and DN needed to go home.

Weird employee appears behind me having flowed me upstairs and is staring into my bedroom! I ushered then out and breathed a sigh of relief.

Monday at work more than one person approached me and asked me about my weekend. It turned out weird employee had gone in told everyone he'd been in my house, in my bedroom and was "seeing me". Absolute bloody creepy weirdo!!

I made a point of avoiding him after that, but had another incident where one of the guys I worked with wanted a lift at lunchtime to nearest town, I was going anyway and said of course. He had bought a CD and said is it OK to check its fine in your car CD player? I parked up at work in the car park and we were sat skipping through the tracks when weirdo employee marched up to my car and just stood there staring angrily through the window!

He actually became quite scary in his behaviour towards me. There were other incidents but those are the two that bother me a lot. There was a running joke at work if I ever disappeared he would be the main suspect

Was shopping in Tesco with DD who was maybe 8 months at the time. I had just finished work and was rushing round with DD sat happily in the trolley seat. Tesco security guard was wandering around and approached and said what a beautiful baby DD was. I smiled and said thank you, went to walk away when the security guard said "I could give you another beautiful baby if you want?" I was so shocked I didn't know what to say so I half laughed and walked away. After that he would always head for the rear exit and stand by the door and wink at me if he saw me in there. I stopped shopping there and used a different store in a different town

I was about 21 waiting for my then boyfriend outside a pizza shop in North London. A much older man approached me and asked me to go to the hotel over the road for some drinks with him and his friends. I said no thank you and started walking off but he grabbed my arm and started walking me across the road. I shouted my boyfriend and luckily he heard and came out! It was scary! Men can be awful!

In all my time on this site I don't think a thread has triggered and upset me as much as this one. . I hate this world. My poor daughters having to grow up around this abuse.

I was expecting tales of crazy stuff we did like the time I took a wee in the footwell of a policeman's car for a bet! Not endless takes of young girls being abused by older men 😢.

I was 15 and in the church choir at boarding school. I was friendly with the 45 year old choir master. Now I look at it too friendly but I was really immature and not worldly wise at all. I have a few of these. Inappropriate short relationship with a man probably in his 30s at 15. I refused to have sex with him and he slipped it in quickly, no condom, pumped a couple of times and I persisted with no. So wrong. I’m struggling to see how bad it was still because he just pretended it hadn’t happened. Intellectually I know it was awful. But that damaged girl just wanted love. He then stopped contacting me. I was bullied relentlessly by another girl and her mates as he was her bf apparently all year. She was like me, 15/16 and in final school year. I imagine the had sex. A month or so later, I went to a party and his pregnant partner, whom he lived was was there. He’d tried to have sex with me in their bed.

Grandmother’s boyfriend made me vulnerable by bringing up my dad’s death to make me cry then overpowered me when alone. Arms pinned by my side and him bear hugged forced a kiss on me. I screamed and went absolutely mad, which shocked him. I don’t think this paedophile was used used to girls fighting back. He was over 80. I was 16. My mother had a word with him apparently and I was sworn to secrecy so that he could live out his days in peace whilst I had one more trauma to contend with.

I’d been groomed really due to my home life. Brother and friends (older) used to get their penises out in front of me and wangle them close to our faces, sometimes when I was with friends. When I was 17 one of these friends came into my bedroom. I was naked having just had a shower. I was very concerned with getting him out without my mother knowing as I thought she’d blame me. She had a very low opinion of me, worse since finding out I’d lost my virginity (hate that term). She allowed my brother to be very violent with me and was aware of some of the sexual stuff, including the vile and degrading sexual names my brother called me and encouraged his friends to do the same. This all started when I was about 12.

@ELL2478 As someone else said, the behaviour in your story wasn’t ‘kind of inappropriate’. It was a terrible sexual assault. Really sorry that happened to you.

These awful stories illustrate how hard it can be for young girls / women to resist the advances of older men or men in authority. Or to report them.

When I was 18, I was working abroad in a hotel. I was really ill one day and couldn’t work. I was lying in bed with just a T-shirt on when my boss knocked on the door and came in. He stood over me and explained he had experience of ‘medical massage’ that would take away my headache. He asked me to take off my T-shirt and when I said no, he took my bare foot and put it in his groin while he ‘massaged’ it. I pretended I didn’t know what was going on as he carried on talking to me. Thank goodness my room mate appeared because I felt paralysed with fear.

When I look back, I feel so sad that I didn’t feel able to call him out, kick him in the groin or report him. I just lay there feeling so ill while he took advantage. He was in a position of authority and I guess I thought no one would believe me and I’d lose my job.

I so hope my daughters will have the self confidence to assert themselves when they get older.

On the metro - it was crowded - opposite us was a 'businessman' as in smartly dressed wearing a long coat and a briefcase on his lap.

At first didn't notice what he was doing but then the briefcase started 'jiggling' up and down faster and he got redder and redder.

I was on a train as a teenager on my way home from college. I just stood by the doors as the train wasn’t crowded and I was only
going a few stops. An elderly man with a walking stick got on the train and stood right next to me. He was literally leaning on me and pressing right up against me. I froze for a bit but then moved away from him and he said to me with real venom that I was a ‘slut’ as I moved away.

I had another man, a tradesman working on my kitchen invite me to go with him in his van for a drive out. This was in front of my mother. The audacity.

A man in his 60s who was a friend of our MD was brought in as a consultant. I was heavily pregnant and about to go on maternity leave. Stood by a desk with him seated discussing some paperwork and he put his hand on my knee, he then moved it around and slowly worked his way up the inside of my leg until he touched me. I was frozen with fear and didn't move just went ridged. He then took his hand away and said "I was wondering where you were going to tell me to stop" I said nothing and carried on talking about work. I didn't tell anyone as I didn't think I'd be believed. Man was an absolute disgusting dirty abusive prick.

My dad in his 50s worked in the building department of a local authority. Used to go out to inspect work on the local authority houses.
First person asks my dad if he wants to see upstairs....my dad said that he wasn't aware they had done work upstairs...they hadn't...the woman was offering her services!! Another occasion he's putting stuff away in the boot of his car and a woman comes up and asks him if he's lonely and does he want to come in for company...he was shocked on both occasions

I was 17 and 'dated' a 30 year old.

I got in contact with my estranged uncle (mums brother) by chance when I was 17. He said he was glad we were friends and said he felt sad for the family fallout. I was very newly 18, living away from home for the first time in uni halls. I'd been on a night out with new "friends" but they had all left for home. Thought of another one. As part of an award scheme at school we had to do some community service. I got a weeks long placement at an old peoples home. I was about 15 and thought I’d be reading to them/playing the piano/serving teas and coffees.
Nope they expected me to help in a caring capacity- bathing and changing the residents - I remember changing a nappy on a very elderly old man. Awful. I feel so sorry for him. Years later the home were implicated in an abuse case - I wasn’t surprised.

I once dated a much older French guy. I was in my 20s and not in a good place. I chose a French film to see think it was called Le Peche. It was about some teenage girl dating an older guy and then her and her friends killing him for money!

When I was a child, maybe 5, my aunt took me to the cinema. She met up with this bloke and his kid and made us sit together while she presumably got off with the dad in the dark.

My parents relationship was hugely inappropriate - big age gap, friend of the family, emotional blackmail, mum very young. You don't know these things when you're a kid.

When I was 16 I volunteered at a charity shop. It was a quiet day so I was told to walk around the shop and make sure everything was tidy. This didn't take long so I was then left standing awkwardly amongst the clothes rails trying to look for something to do. An elderly man came into the shop and saw me standing there and asked if I was also for sale and how much it would be for a night with me. I just laughed awkwardly and quickly moved back to the till. The volunteer at the till asked me if I was ok but I was too shy to tell her what had happened.

I remember when my younger brother and I went to play with 2 older kids in their garden a few doors down from us. They had a really long garden with a rope swing at the end so we were all down there playing, out of shot from the house (and parents). These older kids (who were both over 10) said to my brother - who was only about 6 or 7 - that if he wanted to play in the garden he had to be totally naked so he took all his clothes off! I remember feeling really uneasy about the whole situation as they were helping him undress so told him to get dressed and quickly took him home straight away. I was too worried to tell any adults including my parents in case I got into trouble (!) but remember feeling really guilty about letting him do that, even though technically nothing had really happened and I was only about 9 myself. Even now, the whole situation makes me feel weird!

I was 13 visiting my DB (21) at university up north. The train fares were crazy back then and he couldn’t afford for me to get back so sent me back with a group of boys from uni who were taking a car back. My parents thought he had put me on a train.
