I’ll start:

Otrivine for colds

Clinique lash power - amazing mascara that stays on all day with no smudging

Silicone ear plugs - they even block out DHs snoring!

I agree with otravine...used it a lot as a child.
Ibuprofen for headaches and period pains.
Chocolate for relaxation " relax with Cadbury's caramel!"

Tretinoin. I have taken off 5 to 8 years off my face. Smoother wrinkles, increased collagen and fresher outlook.

CookieDoughKid · 01/11/2022 19:19

My before and after, about 12 months apart and no camera or makeup enhancements .

Needesppressonow · 01/11/2022 19:37

I'm so happy to read this. I looked for skin help from Dermatica and they've recommended this. It arrived today!

JustGotToKeepOnKeepingOn · 01/11/2022 19:53

@CookieDoughKid - really sorry but I can't see any difference in your pictures. You look great in them both... but what is the difference?

Takingturnstogether · 01/11/2022 19:57

Acupressure mat. Made a huge difference to my back pain!

Needesppressonow · 01/11/2022 19:57

@Twooforjoy How did you get it? Did you need a prescription? I want some, I have mild occasional acne but would feel a right phoney going to the docs claiming that I need a prescription for it!

Please tell me the name of these ear plugs to save my sanity. I've tried so many pairs and I can still hear my warthog darling of a DP snoring.

Dangey · 01/11/2022 20:30

Sudafed decongestant spray

WD40 probably does more than it says on the tin!

Bintymcbintface · 01/11/2022 20:32

Reminded me of this haha

CookieDoughKid · 01/11/2022 20:37

Yes it is prescription much stronger than what you find in boots etc. I believe its a form of retinoin. I had fine wrinkles above my eye brows and crows feet. They are still there but more smoothed out. Complexion is much brighter and aging sun spots mostly gone. I've uploaded maybe better . Again no makeup and in natural light.

If you want a referral code, pm me for a discount!

And 46 years old if that helps.

I was the exact same - it wasn't bad enough to bother the doc with but it's bothered me my whole life. I was initially put on a very mild acne cream which has worked absolute wonders, but it's a little strong for me, so they've changed the formula and it now includes tret.

I actually read about it on here somewhere and started a thread on it in style and beauty. Dermatica is online, you upload pictures and write up your issues, they prescribe a formula for your skin issues and will review you as often as you like, but they look for a review about every month. I'm very happy with it overall :)

Beconase or other steroid nose sprays. Magic.

Personally I use Boots Muffles wax earplugs. They muffle about 95% of the sound. Absolute lifesaver!

CookieDoughKid · 01/11/2022 21:04

I'm also on Dermatica. Best thing I ever did.

AlwaysGinPlease · 01/11/2022 21:08

Dettol mould and mildew spray. I spray the shower and tiles with it, leave for an hour with the windows wide open, go back and rinse with shower head.

Removes every single bit of black mould or orange scum without ever scrubbing.
