Dr. Scholl's Pain Relief Orthotics Insoles for Plantar Fasciitis. Went from crippling pain to happy in a day - magic!

I need these tell me more did you buy online?

Brigante9 · 04/11/2022 19:52

@ReedOfFate and @TabithaSally and all others who recommended Dr Beckman carpet cleaner, omg, it’s like magic! I bought it based on your recommendations for the big runner we have on the tiles in the lounge to stop the puppies slipping-one of them excited pees when he comes out of his cage and it has totally removed stains-as I applied it! Thank you so much for recommending it!

@Sn0tnose i got one of those ages ago and it’s amazing! 3 dogs and my long very curly hair and I cleaned my stair carpet with it! The big rug at the front door is now back to the real colour rather than covered in dog hair, it’s great!

This is great news! I love it when a good recommendation does its thing Smile

It's genuinely miraculous!

Pink stuff cleaner - even gets rid of rust stains when DP has left a can in the sink...

Bio-ears ear plugs - magic!

Decongestant nasal sprays

Feelinglow27 · 05/11/2022 04:50

@Sn0tnose what's that thing called please!?

Ladyof2022 · 05/11/2022 05:54

Elbow Grease spray cleaner. So amazing I am using up all other cleaners and just using this for everything - even as a pre-wash clothes stain-remover.

I used to bleach tea and coffee stains off mugs. Now I spray them with EG, leave for half a minute and rinse - all stains are gone. It's like magic!

Ladyof2022 · 05/11/2022 06:02

"Neverstick" brand frying pan. Had it a year and still nothing ever sticks to it.

Garnier deep hair conditioner tub. Turned my frizz to silken locks. Fantastic!

Sinex.

BatshitCrazyWoman · 05/11/2022 06:17

Essie Good to Go quick drying top coat. Better than Seche Vite I always have a bottle on the go and a spare, I paint my nails once a week.

mycatisannoying · 05/11/2022 08:02

This is a random one. But HG mould remover foam spray. I swear to God, it's like sorcery!

Metanium nappy rash cream - incredible stuff

I remember that! The yellow stuff in the tube, yeah? It was indeed miraculous for nappy rash.

A&E. Turn up with a life or limb threatening accident or emergency and you will get world class treatment….immediately. Turn up with 4 weeks of abdominal pain or the skin rash that you’ve seen your GP about 10 times….and be prepared to join a long queue.

Was that sarcasm? Our local hospitals have put screens up and are using corridors as wards. People are on stretchers on oxygen, drops etc. There were people on oxygen etc sitting on chairs and lying on floors for 18 hours.

Google hair/lint remover for carpets.

olympicsrock · 05/11/2022 08:59

You are absolutely right about Clinique Lash Power. My wedding makeup artist recommended it as the mascare that would be tear proof. It stays out for 24 hours. Great for gym and swim. I worry that you have to rub a bit to remove it. ( warm water and a flannel) .

@SallyAnn32 you can get silicone earplugs on Amazon eg by 3M but the best ones I've found - also silicone - are by Happy Ears. They're better because they're a slightly different shape, and the bit you hold between your fingers is firm so you can direct it better iyswim. Also they have different sizes and they have recycled ones. I promise I'm not a shill, I've just tried a lot of different earplugs in my time and these are by far the best imo.

I've just been reading the (many) 1 star reviews of these Earplugs and the customer service teams responses are hilarious! Such snark 🤣

@Sn0tnose what's that thing called please!?

@Feelinglow27 Google Carpet Scraper and the Amazon ad should come up. I’ve seen them called lint removers too, but haven’t used mine for that so don’t know if they work. And I’ve seen them for sale for around £10 but you can get them much, much cheaper than that.

RandomCatGenerator · 05/11/2022 12:44

Nivea Double Effect Eye Make Up Remover - it’s the one that’s half clear, half blue, you shake to combine before using. Gets off everything without scrubbing, even the most waterproof / glittery eye make up

RandomCatGenerator · 05/11/2022 12:45

I have some Urban Decay glitter eye pencil that simply will not come off with anything else. Urban Decay’s make up remover is very expensive; the girl on the counter discreetly told me it isn’t that great anyway and to get Nivea. She was so right!

comeondover · 05/11/2022 14:36

@Jonaskahnwaldplease oh I haven't seen these, will look them up

Dettol mould and mildew spray. I spray the shower and tiles with it, leave for an hour with the windows wide open, go back and rinse with shower head.

Removes every single bit of black mould or orange scum without ever scrubbing.

Thank you for this recommendation. I bought some yesterday and now the top edge of my bathroom is mould free! As is the shower head nozzle bit. Amazing stuff.

I already use Br Beckmann carpet cleaner with the brush head. It does work miracles.

Going to look up some of the other things on here
